"Well, Sas my friend, a litter is a transport device for injured persons. And this particular version that I and TF is constructing consists of two long poles bound together at the top and a netting of ropes between them where the injured person can lie on a blanket or animalskin."

Sir Gw and Tf began assembling the litter - which was done pretty quickly. Then they hitched it up on Sir Gw's sturdy battle horse and awaited the transfer of Sane unto the litter.

“Good enough.” Sane lifted herself upright with a groan. With no little amount of effort, she managed to stand up and steady herself. “I’m good enough to ride; be damned if I’m gonna be hauled along under a warhorse’s ass in some travois like a useless corpse! I’m riding.”

Sane tottered to her steed, which kneeled on command, enabling Sane to clamber into the saddle. “Oh hell, this is going to be a long trip…”

Mari didn’t seem to enthusiastic about this. “And what if you reinjure yourself? You’ll be even more useless and a burden.”

“No…I’d be dead. No burden whatsoever then, just throw dirt in my face. Hell, I can be bandaged when I’m off duty and in camp, but in the mean time I’M RIDIN’. Ya’ll are going to have to beat me senseless to get me off this horse and into that litter. I refuse to be dragged about.”

With that Sane did drop senseless from yet undiscovered braindamage and was despite her previous protestations laid gently on the litter.

And off the Gang went to as for now unknown new adventures.

From still atop her horse Sane looked at 'knight', "Grey, you're the only one who will be braindamaged here if ye don't quite being too goody-two shoes for your own good. Now, cut the heroic crap out and lets move, I've had worse and dealt with it. I bet even with a bolt in my back I can ride better than you. Now quit day dreamin' of heroics and move it." Sane reigned in her horse, feeling better after her long battle with the Wraiths were over, and the Ex'ams conquered with colors brightly flying.

Before...

Strange as may seem to the gang Sane suddenly hovered off the litter and glided off to her horse and landed perfectly in the saddle.

And then she woke up, a bit miffed...
