*Zandalf, still on the roof, thinks he sees some sacks floating down the river, but after what he just went through, he isn't so sure anymore*
Zandalf: *getting up off the ground* Wait, aren't they supposed to ride down the river in barre...... *sees that the deeaf penguin is still there, but the elf has disappeared* Zandalf: Don't tell me you're actually real! *pokes penguin to see if it's real, penguin stares menacingly at Zandalf* Zandalf: Okay, you're real, the roof is real....MY ELF EARS! *finds elf ears in pocket, puts them on and receives the normal, but secret, magical powers* Elf ears still in place. But now there are several sacks floating down the river to Lake Town.......*after several moments* MY NEXT ENTRANCE!!! *looks at penguin who is obviously ready to stop Zandalf* Zandalf: Alright, would you just leave me alone if I gave you a shiny object? *pulls out shiny crystal* Penguin: Mier! Zandalf: Great! Take it! *throws crystal to Penguin, which it cathces* Zandalf: Oh, and here's a note about what to do to clean it and keep it shiny *hands Penguin note* Zandalf: NOW LEAVE! *as Penguin is flying off, it decided to read the instructions on how to make it even shinier. But the penguin had been deceived.....* Zandalf: *watching Penguin* Flying...flying...flying......dropping... dropping...down. *Zandalf runs off towards Lake Town laughing maniacally*

*About halfway down the river Maggie gets fed up with riding inside the sack, (and getting half drowned in the process,) and cuts her way out of it so she can swim on her own. (It's a very mild river)*
Maggie(swimming over to Hannah and inadvertantly dunking Acacia): Hello! Happy to be outside again?! (grins maniacally) Hannah: C-c-c-cold! Maggie: What? Oh come on, it isn't that cold... it's not even proper glacial melt out here on the plains...

*Tano was just about to open another sack when...*
Maggie: Don't open that sack! Tano: Why not? Maggie: It's the Katt sack. We can't open it or the essence of Katt will escape. Tano: Well, what if we want her to change back? Maggie: We wait. Tano: OK. *They waited.* *And waited.* *And waited.* *And waited.* *And wait--* Tano: Aw screw this! I'm goin' to open some other sacks. *At that moment the sack turned into Katt again* Maggie: That worked. Tano: O_o?!? *Stomps off to river bank.* OOC: I'm back!

Sarah-What in the name of clausterphobic chocolate... Allie- The sack! It talks! I know! It talked to me! IT DID IT DID! Hannah- Did I put you in the Katt sack? Allie- No! Not the Katt sack! Katt's sack into which only a bit of the Katt-essence had traveled! It was awful! That sack wasn't Katt...it had a mind of its own, with Katt's power to talk...and... Christiana- Someone hit that one over the head with a penguin! Sarah- Those poor penguins! Hannah- Here...have a Skittle...everything is going to be okay! You are free from the sack...I'm really sorry it ever happened. Allie- I...I thought I'd never see water again...*cries* Maggie- OOkay...On to...wherever we're going! Tano-Where are we going?

Acacia: To the Lonely Mountain Chocolate Factory. I think it's just north of Lake Town...
Hannah: *Chews a Skittle thoughtfully* I heard of it, but I dunno where it is. Anyone venture a guess?

Sarah: I think it's over there. *points in direction* About two kilometers.
Maggie: Since when do you have an inbuilt navigator? Sarah: I dunno. I just read the sign. Liz: Sign? What sign? Sarah: The sign over there that says "Lake Town. Two Kilometers." Narrator: The TLA turn around and behind them, next to a path stands the aforementioned sign all shiney and real. Hannah: *blinks* That wasn't there before.... Acacia: *looks up* It was you wasn't it? Narrator: Hey, I don't know why I always get the blame! I mean I'm only narrating a silly story made up by a bunch of illogical stubborn, annoying, teenage ... Allie: All right! We get the point! Now shut up! Narrator: Hmpf....

Maggie: Right so now that we know the direction... how far is it?
Sarah: It says right there, two kilometers. Maggie: Yes I see that, but how far is a kilometer exactly? Liz: I think she wants you to tell her how far it is in miles. Tano: She's not to strong on the metric system. Maggie: (glares at them) Yes that is what I meant, How far is it in miles, and why is the road suddenly yellow? If this is leading into a song... Allie: It must be the influence of the Smaugettes, you remember how many musicals they perform each year. Acacia: It seems our work is to be more difficult than we thought. Sarah: Looks like it, does this mean we have to save the land from becoming a bunch of musical selections? (The situation indeed seemed dire, the company resolved to move on along the road to Lake town, to seek shelter and food and information. And so they continued their journey.) Maggie: I wis Zandalf were here, sort of, if only because he had all the head ache medication. Narrator: Better catch up with the others. Maggie: Shut it you, (she starts running after the rest of the company,) and I still want to know how far it is in miles!

Tano: 3.2 miles? You know, I prefer to think of it in kilometers....two kilometers. It sounds less. *she begins to skip down the road, humming a song under her breath: "they tell you in the army, the pay is mighty fine....they give you fifty dollars and they take back sixty nine...."*
Maggie: *blinks* You know, I really shouldn't be suprised at anything anymore.... occ: I'm back too! Sorry, is been a loooooong time but I have been veeeeery busy with school and theatre. Missed you all. Am back. Everything is good.

((OOC: Nononono... 1 mile is 1.6 kilometres, not the other way around!!! Miles are longer so there are less of them!!! It'd be like 1.25 or something miles )
