    Wow that's conceited.  I'm only posting one message in the current 90 seconds! I take things too literally.... No wonder I don't get jokes. They seem so dumb. haha... that's funny I'm not sure why... Jokes are dumb lol! Wow I've figured it out if you can only post a message every 90 seconds it makes for longer posts because then people put all they want to say into one message instead of four. Marit: daughter of the sea, child of the light Apparenty it's from Scandivian origin from Margaretha which has the same meaning and originating in Babylonia... I can live with that

You're probably very right that the name Marit comes from Margareta. But I'm pretty sure the name Mari originates from Maria and is not related to Marit at all.

U can via the microphone record short 1 min msgs using the Sound Recorder in the Accessories. Start - Programs - Accessories - Sound Recorder. Press the red record button speak rather loud - then press the stop button - use file and save to save the wav-sound-clip in a folder of ur choice. Good luck! Best gw |

Actually Jonathan, my name is Marit (from Maria Grietje) but in Japan people couldn't pronounce it and to prevent further mutilation of my name and my ears I used Mari as nickname. That's how Actually there are very few people who can pronounce my full name right, because of the GR-sound. Fortunately that is only my official name and not the one I have to use in daily life.
