Thanks for giving the riddle a shot, N_E_L and C_C. Keep trying, if you will.

Also, there is another riddle up there, but it has a rather unusual format. I hope it is not too twisted for you guys...

Who Am I?
Iron Hat the nail pounder assistant.

Good luck with it!

For the nailpounder... Helm Hammerhand? If this is right, make harder ones.

Helm the Hammerhand is correct.

Try this one:

Additional Teutonic Barbarian or, as he is otherwise known, Cadaver-room Social Outcast.

Well, I was asking for it, but that is too difficult... And I wouldn´t actually consider it a goode olde riddle. My turn.

Half and half
Bound in one
split in two
I´m talking of who? (2 persons)

Agreed, these are more like puns or something. Still, they can cause you to think, so they can be fun puzzles to solve if you enjoy wordplay.

Try these if you like:

Who Am I?
1) Flipper-pole
2) Pelt-skin
3) Small plastic building block-girl

Where Am I?
1) Split-hollow
2) Dewy Horse-light brownish hues
3) Center Planet

Two more riddles

Here's a couple of new riddles for y'all

1)
I’m the last of my kind,
No other will come.
Final fruit of my family tree.

And when I was born
The labor was long,
And all that was dark did flee.

2)
I’m long and I’m thin,
And marvelously lithe.
My strength is deceiving
Should I give you a lift.

I shine when I need to,
A faint silver glow.
I come when I’m called for,
And I’m easy to stow.

Another riddle

Decked out for a journey long
We slipped away without a song.
Our fear was great, we were too meek.
Our journey done within a week.

For enemies were at our gate
And it seemed we were to meet our fate.
So when an opening appeared
We scattered far and ran like deer.

The quest went on without our aid.
But our new master must be paid.
His accounts had taken a sore blow
When we fled so swiftly from the foe.

So labor now we cannot shirk
as he has put us hard to work.
It’s not so bad, we did survive,
All of us, (and we number five).

The Old Man

The old man was a mighty singer,
singing songs of slumber.
The old man weaved his many mazes.
twisting, winding, changing.
The old man had deep-rooted wisdom,
growing through the ages.
The old man's heart was dark and rotten,
but his strength was green.

Ah - I think I know them both... though the first was much harder for me to come up with. I'll wait and see if anyone else can have the pleasure of solving them though - and post later if nobody has (so few have had the chance to see).

They are within a very short distance of one another though.

Your earlier two unsolved... still have me stumped. For the #1 where I already got the #2 - I'd just guess: The sapling of a white tree that Aragorn found with Gandalf on Mindolluin? But I don't think so. The "coiled" one I'm getting nowhere with.

It is not the white sapling. I will give you a clue. This is a Silmarillion riddle.

As for the coiled riddle, it is something that was made. Probably in the First Age, but it was destroyed in the Third Age in a very significant incident.

WHAT AM I?
Coiled in a silver chamber
linking dark and light together.

As for the wordplay puzzles up there, I will give you guys one of em as an example:

Additional-Teutonic Barbarian = More + Goth = Morgoth
and
Cadaver room-Social outcast = Morgue + goth = Morgoth

I hope that isn't too far out there for you guys...

OK - I think I'm getting these. The "3's" are:

Lego + lass = Legolas
and
Middle-Earth

Flipper-pole... Hmmm... Finstaff? Finstick?? Oh, wait... Finrod!

Coiled... not many First Age objects survived into the Third Age. Is it one of the Palantiri???

I'll go ahead and solve your "Decked out..."
That's the five hobbit ponies who escaped from the stables at Bree when the Black Riders came to town - and Barliman Butterbur paid the Hobbits for them. When they fled to Tom Bombadil, and he heard where they came from, he returned them to Butterbur, who ended up with a good bargain for them.
