Here is a reposting of my unsolved riddles:

King of Moria;
beheaded.
Purse filled mouth;
spiked.

Here's a riddle in a halloween "spirit" :

The most ancient hallowed ground
in all of Middle Earth be found
where ice cold stones ring you round
Here among the grassy hills
there are no trees or watery rills
where haunted spirits bring you chills...

Abode of evil within a dark tower.
Enduring foundation through a ring's power.
The center of darkness and Middle Earth's trouble,
reduced by some hobbits to a pile of rubble.

How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground.
I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!

Oh. Right. Duh. *smacks forehead* Azog, killed in the battle of Azanulbizar. Same story, just a bit later.

The halloween riddle is not referring to the Paths of the Dead.

All mine have been answered. Rosie G still has a riddle or two to be guessed at I think.

I don't have a new riddle at the moment so I will repost one of my earlier creations for the time being...

What is it that...

What is it that occurs in a place yet is not a place,
but is rather a reason to gather?
A rare event of expression and debate
to discuss the issues that matter?

Entmoot? Are you referring to this message board, or the gathering of Ents in the LOTR? (if it's right.)

Yes, it is an entmoot and I was referring to the entmoot in LOTR. We just start spouting off and "mooting" whenever we want. Nothing rare about that event!

Another old favorite:

An artifact from an earlier age,
the most ancient work of man.
A silver treasure of royal measure
kept safe in Elrond's hand.

Yes, good job Earniel!

another oldie:

Tools of war
above the fire.
Found in homes throughout the Shire.
Useless items of little worth
exchanged as gifts back and forth.
If any hobbits want to see 'em
in Michel Delving there's a museum!
