The Narnia bits are a different universe to Tolkien's, and we're leaving it out of this story. Baru tries to avoid talking about it, as it's rather difficult to explain to people anyway. Her history is now Rivendell, where she has got family. Sad about the grey cape - wouldn't it be nice if it was found somehow?

I decided to have Baru being close enough to Quickleaf to have shot some of those arrows mentioned in his post, and close enough to have noticed that he fell in and that Nami tried to help him.
I think she's going to be philosophical about her experiences again - in a later post. She may have a nightmare after this.

I'm sure Redplate was twiddling his thumbs valiantly. I can't remember if I gave him a bow... But the fight is over, yes?
Edit: well I joined the fray, and am now dragging the soggy Quickleaf back to the rafts. Anyone care to haul on Redplate's rope to aid them back to the raft?

Oh no! Lol.. haha didn't see that one coming. Mamnoon Sane, but really the elf was meant to sink first and drift into some rocks, beyond help from the moving rafts..
Would you mind editting it to Redplate nearly reaching Quickleaf or something, but seeing the elf sink into the water and lose sight of him?

Why not leave what's been written so far, and let them discover on the raft that Redplate rescued one of the Raft-Elves by mistake? I reckon more than one has gotten hit, fell in and could use the help, and that way no one has to edit something if you don't want to be found at the moment. I'm too happy to see Sane finally posting than to make her go editting already.

Er... Sorry. When I read that you had revised his wounds to be non fatal, I figured you still wanted him around. I guess you could just give Carnehillion the list of all the overboard elves and he can go play the part of a Golden Retriever and fish them out.
He's going to be very water logged by the end of it.

I guess Quickleaf is meant to be found by somebody outside of the company, and that he will find his own way back to us later.
I like the Golden Retriever idea for anyone else who is overboard, though. Sirandion should be able to tell what Raft-Elves are missing. A water logged Golden Retriever who has been twiddling his thumbs valiantly? I like your imagery, Sane
