Hey Acally, I saw a cartoon this morning called Jane and the Dragon and the girl in it reminded me of you. Not sure why, maybe it's the red hair. It had a catchy tune to it and was made by the Weta people. If you haven't seen it you should check it out, it wasn't that bad.

Here's some info on it if you're really interested in it. http://www.wetaworkshop.co.nz/projec...and_the_dragon
I hadn't really sat down and watched Saturday morning cartoons in ages and this one and another show called Jacob Two-Two surprised me. I'm going to watch 'em next week just to make sure I didn't just catch 'em on a good day. They come on NBC but I guess they have a regular schdule on another channel, just can't remember which one it was.

Who called me a troll-eating wild animal that's looking to take over the universe?
How is everyone doing? I haven't been here in over two months. Could somebody please summarize anything important that's happened since, say, Christmas? I'm only reading back in smaller threads, and in the Teacup Cafe a few posts.

The Brendonianist Party, and the Revolutionary Entmootian Party: two parties with similar agendas running against one another. What next, is the Cafe serving molotov cocktails? This is going to be a fun election. We really need some volunteers to compile a Textbook of Entmoot History. I'm saving news articles from the Cafe Times. I've sort of lost track of who I'm running against...

Okay, now that I've had time to catch up on reading the Cafe...
Now that I've returned, two months after my last departure, hopefully better read and better informed than I formerly was, there are going to be some major changes in my party and campaign. I would like to announce that people in other nations have become members of the Brendonianist Party, and are spreading its message to their fellow countrymen. Once their mission is complete I intend to convince them to join Entmoot, though it remains to be seen whether or not either of them have read LotR. I also just posted this as a MySpace bulletin, addressed to those from Entmoot as well as those who are members to the Party. Due to a two-month absence of its notorious political leader, Trolls' Bane, the Brendonianist Party has fallen into a dormant state in Entmoot politics, forgotten by some and unknown to new members. Rumor has it that Tabby has been researching new areas of politics and campaign practices. Participants in the series of militaristic events in the Teacup Cafe have described Tabby as "a troll-eating wild animal that's looking to take over the universe". Certain members of opposing parties quickly joined the Brendonianist Party immediately following this statement. A series of changes in the Brendonianist Party will be announced and initiated hopefully within the week. In other party news, a large fleet of Star Destroyers from Imperial Starfleet have entered geosynchronous orbit above Entmoot. It is unclear whether this is related to inner party dealings, but Captain William Gold of the USS da Vinci reports that his sensors read that they are poised ready for orbital bombardment. Due to Tabby and his campaign manager's ties to the Second Galactic Empire, critics say he is trying to exercise terror to tip the elections in his favor. He denies this, saying that he has no knowlege of such a starfleet.

Trolls' Bane, my brilliant young friend, you are all kinds of the bomb, you are just - you're the bomb, baby, simply put. I've missed seeing your posts around this place. I've gotta say, truly, if anyone ought rightly to be "President" or whatever on this here messageboard, it ought to be you, babe. I mean it, seriously. I don't keep up with this place at all, don't really care too much for it like long ago I used to, but there are a small precious handful of certain people I come specifically here to see, and you're right in the center of that handful. Trolls' Bane, the Rightful Commander in Chief of this place we all call Entmoot.
Love ya, baby! Good to see you around again, very, very good indeed.

As a new mooter,
I consider myself politically neutral, but not so uninvolved that my vote could not be purchased. The Brendonianist party (or any other party) can commence wooing me like a New Hampshire diner patron, at any time.
Don't bother with sweeping policy issues, like most voters, I'm only interested in your method for distributing the goodies. |
