I don't know what everyone's problem with the new facebook is. I kept switching back and forth just because I didn't know where everything was right away but I weaned myself onto the new one and I like it better than the old one. It just takes a little bit of getting used to.

My news feed could NOT be more random, for example. I hate that.

Oh, yeah, I noticed something like that too but I didn't think it was associated with the new FB. Annoying though. Especially when I first make friends with someone their old new pops up in there.

The news is always late though.
Sometimes I get a 'statusupdate' from someone, which I read the previous day, or comments or whatever. Plus, I'd like to be able to hide my news and to arrange my page the way I like it. Now my page has been divided into 4 pages...

Right! Why does my email know everything before my page does?

Probably because the page is so busy with emailing it to everyone first

My sis-in-law has found an inventive new way to try to get out of her responsibilities and get me to take them. She used to just ask me to take her kids home, knowing that I usually go straight home from school and we live across the street from each other (we had a car pool for the first half of last year, which she cancelled and then wanted to see if I could still take her kids ) . We finally had a talk about her asking favors too much (which I did as a favor to her because some of her friends and relatives have actually complained about her to me!), and her position is that since I can always say no, it shouldn't be a problem. She doesn't get the concept of how over-asking favors while never offering them herself is wrong and is using someone. Now she just calls her kids, when she's running late or doesn't feel like picking them up, and tells them, "Oh, just catch a ride home with SOMEONE!", knowing that I'm always there, parked right up front in the handicapped spot. So of course her kids, who like me, come up to me to ask if I can take them home. So now she's not even "officially" asking me to do her responsibilities Anyway, after taking her kids home 5 times in 2 weeks, I decided to just say "sorry, I can't, I have errands and I'm not going straight home", because they're old enough to be safe left at school (14 and 16). Even then, though, they usually want to go with me, but I'll just say no, I can't. However, last week she she picked them up every day, which was good. If she starts to pull the "oh, catch a ride home with someone" thing again, though, I'm going to just say no. She is just SOOOO frustrating to be around. I don't even want to be around her at ALL anymore - you just get the feeling that she's going to ask yet another favor. And she complains about being tired all the time, yet she goes to ice-skating lessons, aerobics, bike-riding, walks, etc. etc. And I'm the one with the chronic illness who is tired and in pain all the time, but does she offer to take my kids home and give me a break? No! And the really awful thing is that my kids hate going in her car, anyway, so if she did offer I'd probably have to decline! They always all fight in her car, and if my kids say a single word to try to help out, it's THEIR fault that there's a fight, and she's a bad driver and goes over curbs and hits parking concrete things and cuts in front of people, etc. etc., and twice started backing up when her own kids were putting my son's scooter in the back of her car. So even if she DID offer, my kids do NOT like going in her car. In fact, they beg not to! Oy! *headdesk* The one time I had to ask her to take my kids home this year because I had a dr. appt downtown at 3:00, I had to ask them to go home with her as a favor, and to basically not say a word except "yes".
And that's just a small part of the family issues here.

I hate emotions. They are confusing. And I'm frustrated because I just can't seem to get music out of that piano of mine, no matter how hard I practice!
Rian, that sucks. Sounds like someone ought to teach that woman a good lesson! >_< But yeah, it shouldn't be you. I agree with Sis' complaint.

Ok, I generally try to stay positive and don't really post vents too much, but I'm feeling like I could use it. Not really angry so much as sad/frustrated. I still don't have any money and neither does anyone else. Neither of my parents have any money to give me. I don't have enough time to work another job, and even if I did there are none to be found. The bills are always overdue, the phone AND the internet got shut off today (phone's back on for now, stealing the neighbor's slow-ass internet). I don't have any money for books for my class that started yesterday. There's no food in the house. I've been eating a lot of things that involve evaporated milk, mashed potato flakes, etc. I think it'll be a little better at the end of this semester, I should get some money then, but it's always going to be hard to get ahead I think, especially until I graduate and get a real job. I almost cried earlier- I was looking forward to having pancakes and there were bugs in the Bisquick and I had to throw out almost a whole box of it. (There was, however, one pancake worth of Hungry Jack mix, so it was ok...) It sucks when stuff goes wrong when you're already in a tight spot. On the bright side, I haven't eaten any tulip bulbs yet. See that's why I don't like to complain, because there's always someone who has it much worse than me. It still sucks though.
