Let's also keep in mind the size limitations...you can't have an avvie that takes up half the screen!

To agree with Hector

As HB agrees this is an unnecessary topic post as we have another venue for this, this is now merged into the Avatar Shop II

...sigh....

Not if they can size em down. thats why you should always have a picture of something that stands out. *imagines an avatar of someone with huge ears*

Party's moved, everyone!

We've been heavy on Leif and light on leaves - any interest in leaves, Lief?

darn, that's the only leaf boat I can find right now

Reminds me of long, lazy summer days ...

We should get one of the artists here to make a leaf into a viking boat that would be cute!

October 9th is Lief Erickson Day? Was this ever celebrated on the moot?

I say whatever pics Lief doesn't pick, we use as our avatars this October 9th. Dibs on the hot blonde.

Hector, I love your helmet ideas and this one:

Some of these have such detail work that the content would be impossible to see, wouldn't it?

well, I think you'd have to pick just a small part of the bigger pics, then one of our graphic guys would prob. be willing to help you out.

I think this one intrigues me most so far, though I'm not 100% sure yet. I'll want to look back at some of the others again.

Cool! Thanks, Nurvi . Very much appreciated. And Hector! A very fine picture indeed, methinks. And everyone who has posted avatars for me; it's all very nice. Thanks R*an, for the idea .

If I ever choose to switch to another avatar, I'll also definitely know where to look .

I chose this one because he looks rather noble, and also like a visionary, in a way. He looks like he's moving forward, and that's very important to me right now. Plus he's supercool .

I may switch to the leaf boat eventually, for different symbolic reasons.

It's very fun to see so many pictures of Vikings in one place. Leif Erikson was a fascinating historical figure, and seeing him honored here with such a collection of pictures is great.

I feel honoured that I got to make you an avatar! After all these years, you are no longer avatar-less. *wipes away emotional tear*
