I believe it's actually, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself." Though I can't remember who said it at this time. But whoever did say it was way off. You can be completely unafraid of something and then it'll take you by surprise and you'll wonder why you weren't afraid of it before.
Then again, to begin fearing everything would make everyone paranoid. (But aren't we all already?

Perhaps I am mistaken, but was it not Franklin Delano Roosevelt who said that, along with all of his other freedoms? And I believe that he was very right... but, to each his/her own.

And I have to say that the one thing that I am truly afraid of is being alone... I like solitude and all, I'm a very independent person, but i mean utterly alone, with no one to turn to when you do need someone... you know?? Perhaps not....

I think that if you fear nothing you love nothing because when you love nothing you don't fear that something bad will happen to them. You know what I mean right?

I understand completely. If you love something, you will fear that something bad could happen to them. But if you love nothing, then there's nothing for which you need to feel fear.

Well... I suppose that you're partly right, but... it is the fear of the fear that the thing that you love will have something bad happen to it, right? I don't know... I'm rambling... less than two hours of sleep... too tired.

I'm terrified of Spiders especially big ones like tarantulas I don't know why anyone would want one as a pet. No offense if anyone has a tarantula.

I don't have one as a pet, but I've always wanted one. But, then again, I've always liked snakes and spiders and such. (When I was little, my favorite video to watch was a Discovery Channel special on spiders of all kinds... no kidding.)

slimey small stuff i hate them i don't get scared off big fuzzy things unless it hurts me but small things like spiders scare me the most.

I like Star Wars (the original three, anyway) and I like science fiction, but George Lucas should have quit while he was ahead, in my opinion.

I fear Mr. Wells and his theory that cheerleaders are intellegent enough to do complex word association problems

... and the fact that he's trying to convince us that the world is flat... that's scary too.
