Well, I'm real happy right now, because I finally called my stepfather's answering machine & told him to f--k off and never to call me again, since all I ask is that he never get anywhere near me or my life again. Phew, it felt very, very good.

He used to intimidate me so much I wouldn't even been able to hear his voice without caving, and now I've grown the strength and self-respect to speak my mind clearly and to stand up for myself against him.

It makes it easier, too when he lives so far away geographically speaking.

but am glad to hear you're not letting him control you! That's a hard thing to learn, but very important!

I am even more happy now! Yay! I found this story I wrote a couple years ago, and I had thought it was bad at the time, but now I like it. It has some stylistic problems, but the plot is pretty coherent overall, and I just like it. I had actually forgotten all the details, so it was like I was reading it for the first time, and I wanted to know what was going to happen! It was interesting to read! And also, I got a nice letter from a very special friend. I wasn't expecting that one at all, but I'm happy about it.

Today I went to see the Dutch Masters at the National Gallery of Victoria. Such entrancing works of art! I only wish I could've been there for longer.

OH MY GOD I PASSED! I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a 'C' on my history course!!!! Oh, sweet, sweet relief! I was sure that I had failed and would have to retake the thing.

Then of course I was stupid enough to call my Dad abou it, who seemed more interested in the fact that I had gotten a 'C' than in that I had passed.

Stupid Dad.

BUT I PASSED! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
