We'll start the hobbit as soon as every one is accounted for. I think every one will be back around september.

Shouldn't we ask the moderator to close our beloved 'Tolkien lovers anomymous' thread now that it's finished? Don't want to see any harm happening to it afterwards.

I want to copy out the thread and keep it in my house forever to show my great grandchildren's great grandchildren. But...that would take ALOT of paper. I'll be back, ready for "Hobbit" on the 18th (of August.) So anytime after that, I'm okay with. BUT PLEASE don't start without me. I can still send armies of Gondor after you.

I don't think any one dares to start 'the hobbit' without the entire regular TLA-cast. I don't think you'll have to worry. (and nobody wants to be invaded by the gondorian army )

I'll PM Mathron to ask him if he could close the thread.

We'll keep this one for a collectcall (a pun! ) for the hobbit. Maybe I can change the title or something.

You are cool, Katt--thank you a thousand thousand, and I'll get it all up online ASAP.

Yes, close the TLA...but keep this open for Hobbit. I agree!
What should we title the Hobbit thread, do you think?

When will everyone be back from vacation is another thing. Is the begining of September too late for anyone? Does it have to begin in Augest? Oh well. We'll do something about it.

How about I start the thead now and everyone will post that they are back when they get back. Once everyone posts then it will start.

Titles:

Miram's The Hobbit
Hobbit
Miram's Tolkien Addiction Continues
TLA- The Next Generation
TLA- The Previous Generation
TLA- The Saga Continues
TLA- Flashback
TLA- A New Hope

Ok, enough with the Star Wars/Trek refrences. Any actual good ideas?

I know we're all eager to start right away. (and who can blame us?) But I don't think starting the thread now is a good idea. It might get clogged up before we get the actual chance to start. I'd say we wait for September, every one should be back by then, I suppose. That's my opinion.

We can start once every one has posted a 'I'm back' post on this thread.

Now that I'm not Aragren anymore, I can agree with Earniel...we don't anyone to sabotage our precious. And plus, we might get a whole weird story before any of us even get there.
I like Moraumer's second idea..."To the Asylum and Back Again...or Not" That's a very cool, insane, title.

My e-mail is maggie1williams@hotmail.com. Why don't we just call the next one TLA 2. Keep it simple. Anyway... Can I do the map scene? Please? I'm good at the map scene, I've got it memorized.

Do you want to do Elrond, then?

Wait. Stop here, Tanoliel!

Okay. No one's grabbing characters yet, really, is that right? Are we just going to wait for all those vacationers? (I really shouldn't talk....I have to go to California for six days next week).
I think we should just start a TLA II thread in a little while, and I like the idea of having everyone post a "I'm ready; let's go" message before we start, just so we can be sure we've got everyone, neh?
Okay...

Sigh. I'm back after an unscheduled absence. I'm happy it's done, but I'm also sad (duh). Start the hobbit as soon as everyone's present!

Willow? Were you listening to Star Wars music when you wrote that scene? (you know, the lone dish?) I was listening to it when I read the scene... Heh.
