Lindon will suffice for the correct answer. It is made up of two parts: Forlindon and Harlindon. Good job Earniel!

Each Watcher had three bodies; one facing out, one facing straight ahead, and one facing inward. You can read about them in The Return of the King.

Here's an easy riddle:

Abode of evil within a dark tower.
Enduring foundation through a ring's power.
The center of darkness and Middle Earth's trouble,
reduced by some hobbits to a pile of rubble.

A few riddles by Rosie (they're easy, but they're my first riddles):

#1
I was pensive in gloom,
I was hopeful for doom;
My countenance cold,
My heart raging fire,
My wish was untold,
My soul's one desire.

Death's cold hand has touched me,
Love unseen has found me.
I saw the world's end;
Saw hope in the night;
Watched darkness descend;
Saw return of light.

I have won I have lost,
My joy comes with great cost.
Guised as a horseman,
I rode on for ruin;
Returned with slain men,
And ride now for the moon.

#2
I run many miles,
I run to the sea
Past ruined, ancient piles;
'The great' they name me.

I see the great kings,
Slain long, long ago.
Where the battle-cry rings,
I bear friend and foe.

In glory I fall,
Ere I reach the sea;
A long, golden wall;
There none dare cross me.

Unchanging am I,
Long and wide I be
And loud is my cry-
'The great' they name me.

#3
Borne by a hobbit,
Through strange, distant lands,
Made of metal, we,
Forged by skillful hands.

Deep crack was our bane,
In the dark Black Land;
Hard was the parting
From our master's hand.

How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground.
I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!

I like your riddles Rosie Gamgee. I think I know the answers, but I will let them ride for a while to see if any one else can guess them.

I agree with Keith K, nice riddles Rosie.

I think I know the answers but I'll only answer the second because I like that best. I'll leave the other two to the others.

The answer to the second riddle is (I think):
the river Anduin

Here's a riddle in a halloween "spirit" :

The most ancient hallowed ground
in all of Middle Earth be found
where ice cold stones ring you round
Here among the grassy hills
there are no trees or watery rills
where haunted spirits bring you chills...

and here is a reposting of an unsolved riddle:

King of Moria;
beheaded.
Purse filled mouth;
spiked.

(name the king to solve the riddle)
