The first one comes from a park in Spain, I forgot where exactly, but I'm pretty sure I've got the name written down somewhere. The second one is also from Spain, a ruin of an abby. The third one is from the backyard, this butterfly we bred from caterpillar after he and his brothers had gotten in the greenhouse and munched on dad's plants. Good times, although dad tends to disagree...

here are a couple more photos from morocco - probably the last ones. i'm leaving the country tomorrow at 6 am...

this is called a supermacro photo: it's taken with a macro lens (canon 100mm f/2.8) with 3 extension tubes (kenko, 12, 20, 36mm) and a close-up lens (canon 500d) on the same camera. :P those are the scales on the wing of a butterfly.
