I was thinking that the Secret Ithilian Mountain Retreat should be jam-packed with high-tech communications and radar equipment and a state-of-the-art kitchen (Faramir's father is after all an eo of an architectural firm).

Hey, it's getting exciting again, GW, nice posts!

BB, you're a nutter, which is nearing perfection in my book (lol).

Are we going to stick to the book next and have them leave from the Retreat with Gollum, or use PJ's version of heading back to the city....Actually, we're already sticking more to the book than the movie anyway in this scene....in our own twisted, humorous way...mwaaaahahaha

Yeah, I think sticking to the book is the best way about it. So they will leave the Retreat with Gollum. And I was thinking that Shelob should be one of S Ron's genetically deformed monster, which they encounter after accending the Great Defunct Escalator.
