*smirks that here, it's cool and rainy* *will wear Black* I think that's more or less neutral here.

Annoyingly hot? But it's only May! And aren't you in London?

Yes, but you see, to us above, oh, 52 degrees north, 74 is sweltering. I was dripping sweat on Thursday because it was 74.

I am reasonably certain that you're at roughly the same latitude as Seattle. 74 is perfect. Now 80+... that is unbearable.

Oh it's kick-off soon? We'll have to postpone the game since I am going out now
How about an evening match? Wouldn't that be cool

It's May, I'm in London, but as Coffeehouse rightly said a few pages back, being English makes one tend to go bright red at the first hint of sunshine.
Anything above 70 is cause for complaint. *steals Curu's rain*

*steals rain back and hoardes it*
Ireland doesn't have enough, after all.

You can have some of our rain. It just refuses to let up this year...

Nah, 300 days of rain a year is plenty for me, thanks.

I was sending it to London. But if Ireland's low it can have some too. And then maybe the sun will come out and I'll undergo my yearly lobsterization and subsequent pseudo-tan...

We're not low, thanks.
I was in Seattle in '98. Couldn't believe the rain. Loved Seattle, though. Had a blast. Was there on a tour with my choir. Fantastic place. *drinks tea* I have to head into town later today. No point yet, though. Nothing will be open until at least noon on a Sunday.

Noon? That's - late. For opening, that is, not going out.
*very much appreciates Seattle's rain and hopes it gets here soon* *is also drinking tea*

Northern Ireland dies on Sundays.
When I was in Belfast, I couldn't even find anywhere to eat before about 5pm.

Ack! And I thought everywhere here only being open between 10 and 4 was bad.
I suppose it does ensure people get time off work, though.
