Or would you prefer something more down the line of a viking with a lightsaber?

Like most of you, I've always imagined a leaf or viking to be appropriate. I like the big coin!

I second the big coin.

If none are perfect yet, then the net probably has more options to offer, too.

EDIT:
Like this page of collectable corkscrews in the fashion of viking ships! I think the sails are hiding the worms.

It would be cool to photoshop a picture of the duel between me and Lief...remember that, waaaaay back in the Teacup Cafe?
I'm thinking something along the lines of a viking with saber dueling a Red Sox player with a saber...
That was fun. Now it's Archok and Fo-Gath...except they're not fighting yet...
Wow...that was random.
OT, Earniel's idea sounds really cool...
I found two images...
One of a viking versus a jedi, and a really cool-looking cover from the Medieval: Total War Viking Invasion PC game.
http://www.room17.com/albums/2004Hal...0690.sized.jpg
http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P...3.TZZZZZZZ.jpg
I really like the second one-the game cover.

If Lief doesn't pick this avvie, I automatically reserve it.

How about Lief Erikson can find his own avatar, or not use any, whatever. What amazes me is how an entire thread is made, just used as a drive for an avatar for one mooter. So, basically, we can make a thread about anything, no matter how trivial? O.K., then how come that thread about lawn gnomes was closed, then? Just as important a topic as an avatar for Lief. It's not like we're on a drive to find a bone marrow donor for a dying friend, people.

Actually, there really is no good reason to have a separate thread for Lief's avvie, since there is such a thing as the Avatar thread. But if Rian had posted in there, who would know it was a special occasion unless they ALWAYS read the avatar thread?
Now, if a mod merged this with the avvie thread, that mod should write a post here to inform, and everyone would know.

Ahh....psychology

The second to last is the best one Rian

the roaming gnome denouncer of entmoot myths.

myth I Lief Ericson does not need an avater. "ridicilus everyone needs an avater"

myth II gnomes are too silly a topic to have their own thread, "Preposterous why I saw a thread about gnomes just mmm mm" *is silenced by a padlock*

save money with traveloc..er I mean Entmoot!

sorry sorry off topic I know If I ever get photo shop I'll make one like that. [viking V. jedi that is]

Then I"ll be sure to do it more often I love to make you feel special! That's why I spent all those hours working on your behalf several months ago on the rpg

But you assume too much, O Queen of the Universe - I didn't "snobbily" ignore you, I kindly ignored you, because the alternative was to comment on your post, which would necessarily involve saying unpleasant things about it.

As I said, I led the drive for SGH to get an avvy, and I LOVE it! And Lief has been around for quite some time, and IMHO it deserved a thread If the mods disagree, they can certainly merge it. (I didn't know there was an avvy thread, hector!) I"m sorry the lawn gnome thread was closed, it looked funny. I'd suggest closing the Nazul rpg thread, too, though, if you want to reserve all the bandwidth you can for bone marrow donor threads. Get out of your snit, girlfriend!

I think there's some great choices out there, Lief - go for it!

You keep going on and on and on about the few months ago on the RPG thing - what, you mean when you helped calm down the"fight" between me and Lief? Quit patting yourself on the back about that publicly Rian; now I wish I hadn't let you "help" me at all. I NEVER ASKED YOU FOR HELP< YOU BUTTED IN AND ASSUMED I NEEDED IT!!!!! All I mentioned here is that it's unfair to make a thread about avatars for one single mooter, when like herctor says there is already such a thread, why not use that one? While OTHER people's little threads get closed. It is not a fair and balanced system.

Jesus christ, I mean you really piss me off Ri. You want to get public, fine. I'll get public right back. Don't ever do me any favours ever again, O.K.?From now on, please just do not step in and push your weay into or involve yourself in any of my problems or ANYthing, here in this Entmoot again. I do not need your unsolicited help.

No forget it, you don't piss me off. I think from now on I'll just ignore you. I can't believe how much I'm letting someone like you affect me.

No, it's not a fair and balances system, but for the most part-always excepting this snag- it works.

Calm down Lotesse, it really isn't that big of a deal. I've had lost of threads closed on me: i.e. my entmoot "wedding", which seemed prefectly important after the entmoot elections.
So Leif gets some extra attention that he doesn't deserve: but only because it make mooters "happy" to see to it that he gets what they want for him.
Leif has been around for awhile now, and it's annoying to see no avatar with his name. (And apperantly Rian didn't "know" about the avatar thread.)

Rian, perhaps a bit too confronting, too soon? eh?

no, I meant the "fight" between you and BB, where you were really, really distressed.

This is the third post in a row that IMO is beneath your warm and kind nature , and OT, too! so I won't be responding to any of your posts in a similar vein.

edit - no, I"m not "patting myself on the back". I'm trying to remind you that on my part, you're a friend, and that is demonstrated by my actions, as opposed to mere words.
