But I think Falagar got it quite right. You use 'estar' when talking about location and the state of mind or mood of a person.
And you use 'ser' for everything else
That's how I think when I speak Spanish

Ich Klasse besuchen und Arbeiten. (Did I just totally butcher that?) Der Klassen sind fur Computer: programmieren und "networking". (damn, my book doesn't have some of these words. )

Für manche Wörter gibt es keine richtige Deutsche Übersetzung.
Wenn es mit Computern zu tun hat, verwenden wir meistens Englische Wörter.
