Yesterday I watched a film on tv with Jean Reno and Natalie Portman
Leon (the director´s cut) I was so impressed that I dreamed of it last night. It always had a very french attitude although the story played in New York(?). The violence in french thrillers is always very nasty and dirty. |

not a new movie, but I just saw The Ninth Gate for the first time and I loved it. The whole story was really interesting.....and of course, Johnny Depp was in it.

Me and my parents saw The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring last Friday. It is quite awesome. (my third viewing. Once in a cinema, twice on video)

It was quite good, what with Kate W. alternately crying and gigling with equal hysteria. The opening with the documentary was a bit klunky, the flash forward, and the "where are they now" text bit at the end. I totally bought into the characterizations. The baritone mackerel was great.

I was just wondering if anyone else got a chance to see the movie "The League of Extrordinary Gentlemen"? I watched it the other day and I actually thought it was a good movie. The action and graphics were good, so was the plot and the characters. The only problem I had with it was that they did not have much "Drama" in it, you could tell what was going to happen with all the characters form the beginning. Especially with Dorian Grey.

Well, I'm not much for movies with an extremely low believability. I can work with wild concepts but absurd execution (i.e. giant submarines harboring next to little wooden docks or steaming through downtown Venice; driving to get ahead of an explosion, an invisible man with clearly visible facial hair, just to name a few) I find too distracting to allow enjoyment of the movie.

That movie supremely sucked ass, and the only reason I went to go see it was because somebody else paid for me.

captured nothing of Wilde's Dorian Grey man he rocked and an entire movie about him would have been cooler, didnt mind some aspects of it, i saw it at the cinema once enjoyable enough at the time but a quite pathetic film otherwise...
Heavenly Creatures is a good movie but just no way near as cool as Brain Dead or Bad Taste, ive also become rather fond of Meet the Feebles, now thats class
