But the series is better.
Well I haven't seen the original, only the special uncut edition. It sucked.

Is that from the archological point of view, or did it your opinion just suck?

I kind of liked the movie, those helmet were awesome! I've only seen season 1 and 2 of the series, so far so good...I especially like the fact that they tried really hard to connect the series with the film

Well obviously my opinion. But archaeologically as well - not that that counts for much, cos so was Indiana Jones, and I love those movies.

I like the series though.

What DO men want?

You'd better look somewhere else, because it's certainly not to be found here.

Is there some lingo name for threads that stray off-topic? I mean, significantly... because, you know, nearly all threads do that, but this is one is uncanny. I will present a few possibilities. Since we can't get much further away from the topic , this thread will also be a suitable place to discuss the options.

IRC - I know it already stands for Internet Relay Chat elsewhere, but it could mean Incongruous Reply Collective here. Quite fitting.

Mutt - I guess this would be the opposite of a thorough-thread (Get it??) and I don't recall seeing the word here before.

Skeezick - aforementioned in the now-closed "Is it Rogue or Rouge?" thread. It just sounds right.

That's all for now. Anyone else have ideas?

I like shread, skeezick, and mutt best so far... this calls for a full-fledged discussion of self-assigned words we could use around here. What else could we use new terms for? Discuss.

Making up words is my family's speciality. It's somehow really amusing to see people from often on the other side of the world using words that don't really excist. My sister managed to get a decent numeber of people on a internetforum to use the word 'fne'

Who are you, Freddie, and why are you closing our threads?
Really, we're having an interesting discussion, here.
I like Skeezick and PCE the best, thought Mutt is good too.

Oh yeah, homework. That.

Quick, guys, ban together and say that men want this thread to stay open! That's on-topic, isn't it?
