Women want X-Files now, eh? I thought that was generally a man thing

I wonder how many people are going to get this joke...heh heh...

There's a thread to talk about X-Files, a show that jumped the shark at least 3 or 4 years ago, in the Entertainment Forum. Keep it outta here.

Mmmkay, yep. No one got the joke.

I can say what I want, though - but that's irrelevant to the core questioning of this particular thread I don't think I can tell you what women really want: considering I'm not every single woman.

there's an old Rich Mullins song, Not as Stong, that says, "And if you make me laugh, I konw I can make you like me/ 'cause when I laugh I can be a lot of fun..." That, for me, kinda sums up what catches my attention. Even before looks, no matter how many of you refuse to believe that looks don't matter even at the beginning. The guy's ability to laugh, and to make me laugh.

However, if a little depth of character isn't shown in the next couple of meetings as well, I lose interest. Character. That's what it comes down to.

yeah, I think so too! I think I'll add it to my sig. That way maybe I can avoid being attacked for making generalizations.

Sorry, IMO xtra long sigs just get annoying, so I'll keep mine short and rotate quotes more often. There wasn't room for LoS and the disclaimer, thus Humpty Dumpty. No worries! I like Tennyson too much to leave him out of the mix for long!
Fare thee well!

Alright, so you all have long sigs. I didn't say anything about long sigs being annoying. I said that xtra long sigs were annoying.

Alright, I just spent the last six hours w/ my dorm watching A&E's Pride and Prejudice. Maybe some of you fellas should check it out...it might give you a clue as to what women want. I heard an awful lot of sighing going on whenever Mr. Darcy was on screen...

I HATE it when guys open doors for me! Okay, I don't really, but generally I don't like the idea of a guy opening the door for me just 'cause I happen to be female. So I open doors for them

Oh, wait, the disclaimer. Heh.
