Man it lifts my spirits to moot here with all of you.

The new year's eve was a... non-electricity one. We were at our cottage, and ta-daa! the the elec went out. I was playing Kingdom Hearts I, and hadn't saved. Hard Work went to dogs. Or the Heartless in this case.

Nah, it was hardly any work.

And since we didn't want to freeze, we left for home, fortunately it's only a fair hour's drive. But DAMN those rocket people!

I don't like them! Kept me awake for a long time. Why can't they shoot the whole crap at once, instead of disturbing people?

...I'll be making sashimi today.

Raw fish IS disgusting. Sorry, but I gotta agree with your relatives there.

Try making egg-sushi. Or cucumber-sushi. And instead of seaweed you can use sesame-seed (though I personally love seaweed).

I am wondering how crazy we Dutchies are. I am at the moment watching a news item about the Nieuwjaarsduik: people go dive into the sea in their bathing suits. Yes, the sea where I could just see them breaking ice off so there was room for people to dive. Are they nuts!?

Sushi is pretty good, but you've really got make sure you don't have a queasy stomach. I can eat it fine, though some fish varieties better than others. The wasabi sauce helps.

Sane, I have heard of the Polar Bear Club. Though the pictures I saw in the USA TODAY article were not of nude people

I did walk in a rushing creek (over shoulders in some parts) when it got very cold a week or so ago. I was bright red when I got home.
