"millers" was very close, but not quite (and it's not "milkers" ) - "bared" was not correct, but the correct word means much the same.

Not ALL my quotes are from the Northern Dunedain. I've quoted other races at times, as well as the Dunedain's descendants... and ancestors.

"naked" and "tillers" are correct - v. good, that latter was hard, I think.

"hold" is not correct, but the correct word sounds much like it. And - you could "hold" as well as "_o_d" the "_a_d_" word, which follows.

Same here. Normally I have some clue (right or wrong) where the quote may come from, with this one I am well and truly stumped.

No - shouldn't do that, but it's OK for me to give hints - like saying which book it's in, etc. If someone does look it up, it should only be to verify a completed answer, when the one who gave the quote has not ruled on it.

I guess we don't have as many playing the Quote game who have read UT as in the past... But also, this has been a "toughie" (I 'upped the ante' a little) - and it'll be nice when we can move on to the next.
