a degree is worthless unless a first. Well, no a degree is a degree, but unless a first - any other grade really dosen't matter.

jammi, trust me, college is a waste of time unless you really want to go to uni - i have 3 years wasted on that rubbish, and all i have is an E grade AS level in general studies and at A level history(B) sociology(B) and archaeology(C), and thats all i have to show for about 15 years of state education

basically, these days, unless you are rich, education has become a waste of time and a big fat joke...certainly in england, the tories and new labour after them, have ruined the education system

ACTs and SATs aren't a complete waste of time...they do get you scholarships, if you do really well. Not to mention the fact that I know someone who got perfect scores on both

and is now a mini-celeb around here.

I got a 23 on the ACTs. 1 point under to get a scholorship at UALR.
