Shrek the Third.

It's official: Shrek is dead (or ought to be).

I just seen The Night Listener, with Robin Williams. I really dont know what to say about that one. I dont like it, thats all I will say...

Also, Vacancy, It was ok, but the acting was a little dry. It always amazes me to see what actors do in situations like that, as opposed to a real person like myself, would be more confrontational. I give both a thumbs-down anyway.

Right now I am viewing Yngwie Malmsteen, Concerto Suite for Guitar and Orchestra, in e flat minor, LIVE on DVD. Nice...

I cant wait to watch this one: Cradle of Fear, My boyfriend bought it last night and I love Dani Filth so I cant wait to see it. I hope its as scary as it sounds. (And I hope there is some cool creepy music lying in the soundtrack somewhere...) Hehehe

OMG! It was a cool movie. I really liked it. The effects were more about the gore and blood than whether they looked real or not. Really cool, and not as creepy as I thought it would be but still awesome! I love the mood of the whole thing.
Lots of hacking and slicing and stabbing.
Lots of cool background music. And some of the 'stories' were pretty interesting.
I would definitely watch it again.

The Last Castle great movie. I loved it. Robert Redford is such a wonderful actor.

King Kong Pretty good and creepy at the same time, but too damn long imo

Yeah, King Kong was good, acting directing and all, but waaaaaaaay to long, and the ending made me sad.

I'm sorry, it's just who I am, I always want the animal to survive.

I just saw that movie Dragon Wars, and I'm begging everyone here, on my hands and knees, not to go see that movie! It was horrendous!

I'd just seen another crappy film the night before, by the same company I might add, and should have known better, but sadly, I didnt catch on.

Resident Evil: Extinction ~ if this is supposed to be the last movie they sooo left it open for another one. I'm not a jumpy person, but I was jumping just about every five minutes

Lust, Caution by Ang Lee (or, as we know him in Taiwan, Lee Ang).

Great, but slooooow- more caution than lust, though the lust is definitely there (NC-17 rating in the States) , and absolutely not gratuitous.

In Chinese, with subtitles, AFAIK- don't think there's a dubbed version.

I've finaly begun to see The Godfather series. I've seen I and II now. Great films, I'm such a twat for waiting so long. Well, well. Now I don't have to mumble "never seen them" when somebody starts talking about how great they are.

I've never seen the Godfather series, and dont plan to. They just dont really hold me. My attention, that is.

Now, I have seen Starship Troopers, and my true nerd side shows through when I say that it is my favorte movie of all time, and Starship Troopers 2(Which wasnt directed by the same guy) which really blew.

Now, for those of you who havnt seen Starship Troopers, here's a little clip that has some good scenes from the movie, as well as a song by the band Ramstein (And I cant translate them, but I think their singing in German) and it is pretty cool, so....you know.....LOOK.

Oh, god, I hate Ramstein.

But anyway...

Hero. Beautiful movie. The best Chinese-flying-martial-arts-people movie I've ever seen. I still thought Curse of the Golden Flower was better, but the scene where the girl is killed in combat, and all the slowly falling-leaves changes from bright orange to brilliant red...that gave Curse a run for its money.

Well - all due respect, Nautipus, but if you've never seen even one of the Godfather films, then how can you say they don't "hold you," or hold your attention? I mean - seriously. Anyway, the one which really matters is the first Godfather, of course. Don't knock it 'til you try it, babe, you're only cheating yourself. That film is a piece of art.

And Gwai, oh, I know, huh! Rammstein makes me want to shove rusty forks in my eyes - or in the band's eyes, actually, would be better... Horrific noise.

I agree. I'm not a fan of all that flying-around-waving-swords-at-eachother or running-through-treetops style of fighting, but visually in colours, props, setting and scenery Hero was quite a stunning film. I'd see it again, just for that.

And by the way, I'm not a big fan of Rammstein either, I just think the song in that clip kinda fits.
