I have finaly, at last, about time, you name it, seen Nothing Hill. A hilarious movie. Hugh Grant is a really great actor, though I think I only have seen two or three movies with him...
Can you recommend anyone?(not Nothing Hill or For Weddings...)

I saw Alexander about a month and a half ago. i was kinda disappointed with it but thats probably bcuz i had such high expectations for it. i saw National Treasure about a week b4 xmas. it was sooo good. i also saw Christmas with the Kranks about 2 weeks ago which was pretty good.

I just saw the movie "Thirteen" last night.

Great acting, very raw but believable (and heartbreaking) storyline. Considering the age of the main actors and their performances...I was pretty dazzled. And saddened. And glad I got wrapped up in the geeky band crowd and admired theater and music in high school instead of clothing, makeup, and bad boys.

Love Actually, i know its just some crappy chick flick, but i found it amusing
Went and saw Finding Neverland at the cinema the other night, it was great it just concretes Johnny Depp as probably the best actor of today...
Dragged Freaks and Irreversible out of the collection last night, ohhh god both as ****ed as when i first watched them...
ill either go see the Incredibles or finding neverland again tonight...
i havent seen thirteen yet, one of those movies ill look at at the video store but then find something that i want to watch more. i might just have to get it next time.

I think Hugh Grant is a pretty lousy actor- IMHO, he stutters and blinks too much. However, I did enjoy Two Weeks Notice (the role fit him perfectly), and Sense and Sensability- and the reasons I like that movie have nothing to do with Hugh Grant.

I just saw Phenomenon w/ John Travolta. On GW's scale I'll give it between and . Very touching. The acting in this movie is great. I never, ever, ever thought, after seeing Grease (ick!), that I would say this, but: John Travolta is a pretty good actor.

I dont agree with you. i haven't seen anyone of the movies you mention, but I think he is great. I am very fond of strange looks and behaviors, and I think Grant is exenlent. it is something about him that I find amusing, pluss he is a great actor.

Haven't seen the movie, but Travolta is great. Another actor I think is really great. I can't really explain why, a long time since I have him. just remember I think he is great.

Something about John Travolta just bothers me...the only movie of his I'll watch that I haven't seen yet is Pulp Fiction (and that's because it's a Tarantino film). Maybe it's because I watched the debacle "Battleship Earth."

Millane: I think you'd like Thirteen. It's really dark and scary (not in a horror movie way, but whoa, this is based on reality way), and the freakiest part is that 1) the main characters are in 7th grade, and, well, thirteen and 2) I KNEW people like that in junior high.

Or maybe I'm just sheltered.

I saw Napoleon Dynamite what a very strange but hilarious movie!
Uncle Rico was the best! (*remembers when Uncle Rico is playing the tape of himself throwing footballs*)

The Third Man.

Verdict :

I hate the ending!!!!!! ya ya I know the symbolism and all that but she just walked right by!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(It's one of the big 3 post-WWII movies, along with Citizen Kane and Casablanca; also named best movie of the century by the British Film association people).

I saw oceans 12 last week. I guess I prolly should have seen Oceans 11 first. I'm not really one for that genre of movie, but the night fox's technique was pretty neat.
Just today, I watched Persona, directed by Ingmar Bergman. I'm still processing it. I really liked Wild Strawberries, and The Seventh Seal was visually awesome...Persona is just more difficult for me to reconcile all the events. But, I'm glad I watched it.

Yes, love it! I think I saw it... I did see it? *Glances to sun-star*
Colin Firth?

I saw Lemony Snicket. I do like the style of narrator, very warm. Perhaps a little ruined bythe fact I had deja vu... and realised at the start of the last scene what was going to happen from then til the end... very weird.

Yes Colin Firth, Rupert Everett, Reese Witherspoon, Frances O'Connor, and Judi Dench.

Apparently they took some artistic liberties (and Wilde purists were dissapointed). Oh well...I still think it's one of my fav movies. I need to watch the 1952 movie. It's supposed to be the best Earnest (tho apparently it is almost the play on a stage rather than film).

I just watched "American Outlaws". Nathaniel Arcand, Colin Ferrel, and Timothy Dalton were in it, among others. It was entertaining and fun. ^_^
