Talk to Elfmaster XK about that Snowmane. She's the captain and game master. You might have to wait a bit, but I'm sure she'll find a suitable entrance point.

Is the quartz and amethyst crystal is inlaid into the blade? Not that I'm a bit of a geek and took metal works... An alloy like that wouldn't work out, unless there's some magic involved.
The triblade is cool, it reminds me of a sai - a Japanese dagger.

This is an interesting direction for your character. It might be over the side, but interesting none the less. I think it's cool though, because it brings out aspects in other characters we wouldn't see otherwise, for one thing.

Nurvingiel, as part of her loyalty, seems extremely mistrusting of anyone (either fairly or unfairly) she sees as threatening her friends. Or maybe that's a Silvan elf thing. (Gulio, we might have something interesting go on between our characters...)
Um... the king of the Silvan elves before Thranduil was killed by Dwarves right? [/narcisism]

Oh no, that is completely appropriate on a ship.

One of my favourite quotes from "Two years before the Mast"
Quote:
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thou art able.
And on the seventh,
Holystone the decks and scrape the cable.
That just says, on a ship resting means keeping everything clean, and in ship shape.

Maybe it was Thingol. *ponders*

I just heard something rather interesting.

If you are going to moor at an island, be prepared for something... unexpected.

You see, you have a bit of chaos on board and that may dreadfully effect the nature of the islands inhabitants.

Using my profound Pistacio Vision, I was able to trace the future effects of your ship at an island and I must say...

If your bit of chaos does not get back to Kiacca very soon, it looks like we all will be attacked by Bouncy Entlings.

I second this; if I'm not here then you can say I do things. Just don't do anything big with XK. For example don't make her make decisions, or make important orders. But simple ship actions and stuff...if she's in the right place go for it

Where's your character from Gulio? (Another self-named character). Our paths haven't crossed yet, but let me know when you want to do this thing. We can plan it out a bit in here.

That reminds me, Anduril, will your character appear to others as a Noldorian elf? How does he look again exactly? Because if so our characters might have something too - I don't think Silvan elves are overly fond of the Noldor. I forget why, but my character would remember. Maybe it's time to browse the Silmarillion forum...

Is there an island or anything in the distance? Or is it just horizon?

All that in a cape? Sounds more like a backpack to me. or does you cape come with folded space? I'd think we'd notice a bump the size of a harp. Ask R*an just how big a harp really is.

lol It doesn't have to be an orchestral harp Eärniel. Though I think all harps would be extremely difficult to conceal in a cape. Wouldn't we have frisked her if we saw suspicious bulky objects under her cloak? I mean, we're pirates, not morons.

*note to self. Frisk everyone!!

So do I see an island or what?

Don't smaller harps have a different name? I'm not fluent in musicese. Heck, we can always blame you newbie-pirates for not frisking the prisoner properly.

What can I say, I'm terrible at making up names. Anywho, I was thinking Ered Luin. That could partly explain her being so close to the sea in the first place.

I was trimming at the time, so was Count, that's our excuse. Though it is a tad unfair to just randomly add that you have a crapload of stuff stashed in your cloak after you're in the brig though Lostiya. But then again where else would you have mentioned it. Realistically though, even newb pirates like us would have noticed that suspicious bulk.

Right on. Well this will help us avoid being too Legolas-and-Gimli-ish.

EDIT: Not to nitpick on your character either, but how does she know anything about canons?
These cross-over games can be tricky at times it seems.

BQ, Eärniel is still below deck discussing a possible place to finish the repairs on the ship. Besides, she would never go and ask somebody the time, being first mate, she'd expect people to come and tell her the time.

Joehoe, EXK, you still around here?

Or you would just know it, being a skilled or at least knowledgeable navigator you could probably discern it from the sun's position (given that you also know what direction we're heading) I presume. (If my assumption about you is true anyway. )

I bumped the thread a bit with some character musings. I think this RPG rocks, don't you guys still want to play?

Gulio could have some good times assessing the damage (and the subsequent horror when she realizes how extensive it is.) Heh, I thought of something else for your character too - someone could assume you were a guy because of the beard and you could go on a rant about how all Dwarves don't look the same.

Meh, good question. Bother. I'll have to think of something. Maybe they have cannons in Ered Luin... *envisions an army of Dwarf with heavy artillery*

It's something you'd figure out quickly too. The captain, Sicirus or Eärniel could explain how it works. I imagine your character would get it. I don't think mine would.

Hehe... I guess you could godmod it at the appropriate time too. They seem to have disappeared. Or is Sicirus up and about now?

Note to self so I don't get confused again...
Nurvingiel's distant Teleri blood is from some Sindarin-Sylvan intermarrying way back in the day. But she's a Sylvan elf, not Sindarin. This may never become important but there it is.

Actually, I was assuming you would already know since we made you weapon master. But you can godmod that part where anyone of the senior crew (that could also be Luthien too) explains the cannons to you when you see fit.

What's gonna happen to Lostiya?
