Speaking of eye masks, I guess I'll have to wear a nose mask for awhile after they take off that basal cell spot!

*looks thru the nose mask catalogue*

Hmmm, don't know that I've ever seen a nose mask ... and it's hard to keep bandaids on the nose because it's one of the more oiler regions of the face ...

Rian is apparently having a good chunk of her honker getting cut off due to...her basal cells rebelling.

So she gets to wear a cone on her nose.

..Hee Hee.. I admit that is more goofylooking that a bandage on my eye. Maggie seems to think I make a dashing pirate...So not all bad.

yeah, a nose patch is goofier!

Seriously, though, it shouldn't be that much cut off, and I was joking about the nose patch! I imagine I'm the only one that will really notice it after it heals and the redness is gone. It will end up as a slight depression which fills in over time. My sister knows someone who had a spot in the same place taken off, and they had to go really deep, and my sister never even noticed the depression in the nose until the friend pointed it out.

But it WILL be noticeable until it heals. Might be a few stitches, then a scab, etc.

(But I won't wear a nose patch! I'll just have to super-glue a bandaid on it )

yeah - all that stay-at-home moms do is sit on the couch and eat bon-bons

(and drive their kids and 5 other kids on field trips for the moms that work away from home, and volunteer for various unpaid and unthanked jobs, etc. etc. I gave up a very prestigous and well-paid job to stay at home with the kiddos - working in military radar was a lot more simple! but this is more important.)

thanks, now here is a serious question:

In the movie the 6th sense, when the Dr. listened to the old tape recordings, and her heard those voices of the dead.

was it

a) Electronic voice phenomena (EVP)
b) Cause he is dead, so now he can hear it.

Esh, no stay at home ness for me... If ever I some how get drunk enough to be duped into becoming a parent. I'll take the little booger around with me like my mother did, I had more fun that way and she didn't get stuck in the house.

i know. i should've watched Halloween, but i didn't.

And i think that being a stay-at-home dad (as i am a male, as certain members don't think i am......you know who you are) is good, if you could work from home as well.

It's CERTAINLY a difficult job, and very tedious in the diaper stage, and I don't get the accolades that I did when I was giving technical presentations to generals, but it depends on what you think is more important. And I think a parent can give better care to their children than child-care workers, if they are fortunate enough to be able to stay home (which is a misnomer, because we're often away from home).

I stay at home as much as I want to ::shrug:: I'm not stuck there. My schedule is my own.

Oh, this is the Teacup Cafe - scones for everyone! *hands a plate around* That reminds me - I need to try out a new scone recipe I got from a friend ...

Eh, I have been mixed up genders a few times. I don't think I care enough to be insulted.

Halloween was good and sexy, as it should be.

Pst, Sane, what think you of me being a parent?
