Star date 154 Recon 7

Have stumbled upon a race of "humans" that persist they live in a place they call "Middle Earth", while many others insist it is "Mother Earth"...it is my professional and military duty to declare them all a bunch of nutters and they should all be slapped repeatedly....or least moved to another planet.....not that they're really living on this one as much as I can tell......

Many of them will need to be tranquilized and relocated with copious amounts of beer...oddly, many have already volunteered for this...

(Miss you all, working way too hard to post much)

The National Military Hospital for the totally insane has reported that one of its inmates known as "EarthBound" has escaped. If spotted or heard from do not attempt
to engage but call for assistance immediately.

Also, shout out to TomthePilgrim, welcome to the moot! I liked what you had to say in the thread "if you could cut someone out of the movie...", and liked that you were speaking well of Peter Jackson - it's refreshing to hear someone say something nice about him rather than the oh-so-popular complaining that most of us always like to do, myself included! (complaining 's fun)

so anyway, welcome!

Hello,

Tar-Surion here. Australian, 48 and still breathing. Have been into Tolkiein, "obsessed" my long-suffering family might say, since I was twelve. So that's 75% of my life.

Glad to be here.

Namarie!

Wheee, newbie greets newbie so, welcome, Tar-Surion!
I hope my "obsession" will last at least as long as yours (being 19 and in my 3rd year into Tolkien)

Hey Littleadanel, are you Hungarian? I think you're the first eastern European person I've ever seen on Entmoot. Lots of Americans, quite a few people from western Europe but no one from the 'new' Europe.
Welcome

And welcome to Tar-Surion. I think I began with Tolkien at the age of twelve too.

Well, I could round up to twelve. It was a few weeks after 11 1/2 hit, so it's about the same for me as well. Of course, I'm almost 14 now, so I haven't been into Tolkien long.

Welcome Tar-Surion! Another "obsessed" Tolkien fan!
I'm in my 6th year of Tolkien. I started when I was 13. You do the math
look forward to posting with you!

As we can see I don't post on the Tolkien thread either. I stick with the more creative threads

I used to post only in Tolkien threads until I ran out of stuff to say.
I've got to get some more tolkien books to have more to say.

Welcome
Yep I kinda got here by accident, and I thought why not? I'm not really into forums (we got fast-enough-to-really-use internet at home only 2-3 months ago) and Moot is the first I've ever registered, so be proud of yourselves. And I'm proud to be the one living furthest

Entmoot was basically my first messageboard as well, and the only one I visit regularly. I think quite many mooters out there got into forums and messageboards thanks to Entmoot

I wouldn't say you're the one living the furthest (heck, there's South Africans, Australians, New Zealanders...) but you're the first eastern European I've seen during my 2.5 years at the Moot
