That's the one!

Lake Evendim is partly encircled by the Mountains of Twilight, hence the "shadows of night's edge" - and is the source of the Baranduin / Brandywine, which the Shire Hobbits jokingly call "Bralda-him" - or "heady ale" due to it's brown color (very last part of Appendix F).

Men lived there when Elendil made his capital city Annuminas on its shores, Elves had lived there previously - early in the second age, it was the home of Galadriel and Celeborn. The "sail" was to help tip you off that it was a mass of water (though I'm not sure it did much tipping).
