Hey everyone! I said I would be here more often, but I guess that I lied...sorry! I really do wish I came here more often, but I guess I feel that I don't fit in anymore..oh well

Anyway, I've been thinking a lot lately-and I am absolutely terrified of growing up (including going to college etc). I know I'm only 16 (almost 17 yippie!), but I think about my future more than anything else (shouldn't I? *looks around nervously*). But I guess I can't be stationed in momma's womb my whole life...gosh the thought of leaving home terrifies me! I mean, if I go outside I'll get the Swine Flu! (Okay, I'm not that scared to leave home, but you know what I mean). It's just scary to think that I'll have to pay my own bills one day, and give up reading Harry Potter at my leisure or playing video games. I don't know, I probably sound ridiculous, because a lot of you have already gone through this, but just the mere thought scares me. Gosh, I am so lame...

Don't worry you're not lame. I've got one more year of college left and I'm kinda scared of what will happen after that. The end of high school was nerve-wracking too. Part of me wants to join the master program just for the relative saftey of school. But I'm scared of having to find a better job and even more scared that so many people expect me to find a better job. Other than the fact that I rely on God to get me through this is that I figure, lots of people graduate from college or high school and do fairly well in life afterwards

Yups. Not lame. I used to worry about that sort of thing all the time (actually still do) until I take a decision. So until I knew for certain I was going to study in Leiden for 4 years, I was worried sick.
Now that it's uncertain what I'm going to do after graduating in 2 months, I'm worrying again.
So, worry all you want without feeling weird, but try not to worry about things you can't change.

Well, Queen's Day ended shitty while it started wonderfully. Took some pics of the royal family from up close.

Me, too.

Spring is back, around here. Dig the sweaters out, lol.

This is what I was looking at, this morning.

Yeah, it does seem silly to worry about unconquerable things, doesn't it? Glad to know I'm not the only one wishing herself away to Never Never Land

I haven't even thought about life after college! Well, I have, but it all seems impossible. Which involves becoming a nurse, moving to Rome, getting married at the Borghese Gallery, having four children (one which I want to name Link!!). Haha, I have too much time on my hands.

Heya sis! Finally got warm around here, didn't it? I practically wet myself when the Dogwoods started blooming...hahahahahaha!! Anyway, this was so lovely right on my front porch...

Yes, cute!
I've already spent a while just sitting in the sun, staring at the fishies in our pond and I took our dog for a walk. Lovely.

awww, little birds, they're so sweet. we used to get burrowing owls on our back fence during the spring and summer. Then they built condos.

The owls did?
Right, sorry, bad taste. >_<
That's too bad. When I was walking the dog this morning I saw the rabbits again and I feel so sorry for them. The small woods they used to live in is now almost gone and I'm not sure they'll leave the rest as it is. They are building a new bridge there.

That stinks. What kind of bridge?

The rabbits have all but moved into our yard. A praire dog will stumble in every now and then. There's one we named Sam because it hangs out in the exact same place, so we figured it's the same one. No paricular reason for the name though, except i had heard it all day.

A bridge over the trainrails. There already was a bridge, but that road leads to the highwayknot, so now it needs expending. Ergo: bigger bridge, all the small woods gone and all the places where we built our clubhouses gone too.

Can't do a thing about it I suppose.

I played with my baby cousin and chatted a lot with my cousin. She's the only older female cousin I have and I admired her a great deal when we were younger.
I had a lovely time, but I drank a bit too much tea I'm afraid... >_<
