I went out to by a jacket today, for the winter, but no luck. Which is good because my mum made me look at a very expensive brand and I don't feel like paying a 100 Euros or more for a coat I don't even like.

These sentiments might have played a minor role in me not finding anything today

Well, it won't start snowing until a little later (if we have snow this year) so yes. My current coat is made of wool and though it is pretty, it doesn't handle wetness too well

And then there is the thing of me wanting to go to Switzerland for my PhD this year, so it is preparational buying

Well, we do actually.

Switzerland uses the Swiss Franc and The Netherlands uses Euros

And it is sale here right now, so that's why we went out. Those 100 Euros I mentioned before is the discounted price!

*sigh* I don't suppose I can just borrow my mums coat for the time being, even though she has 3 coats...
I hate coat shopping. Oh, and pants shopping... It always takes me so many tries before I finally find something that has long enough sleeves.

It's a card game in which you have to try to get 7 of the same cards together (for ex. 7 Kings or 7 sevens) so you can get points. The winner is the person who get's to the 5000 points first. (very very simply put)
Once you get the hang of it, it is fun. It is our family game basically, we've been playing it ever since me and my sis were old enough to understand the rules.
