I'm a karaoke veteran so I think it should be ok But it's hard is you don't know the songs, that's for sure.

Yeah. But once I got to know the way that the Rock Band thing worked, I was able to pretty much guess how it was supposed to sound. I did a lot wrong, but whatever. It was fun anyway.

I'm almost to 2000. It took me over a year to get to 500. Curufin is really impressive. She's not even a spammer or anything!

I don't even know how long it took me to get to 500, but I think it was pretty long. It really is quite impressive that Curu got so many posts in so little time. And I mean that in a good way.

I am indeed female.

I just happen to like the male characters better. And I often play guys in RP, as well. It's not that I have any gender identity issues (I'm quite confident and happy to be female, thank you very much) I just love looking into and examining the male psyche. It's a fascinating thing.

And thanks for not calling me a spammer. I really do try to make my posts worthwhile and interesting.

And I am an ELF LORD! MWAAHAHA!!!

I know exactly because I looked it up earlier today. My 500th post was about "The Lady or the Tiger?" It was mostly unremarkable, lol

Gender issues are always fun.

Especially when you're confident and not threatened by other people.

Yes, that is always the best
I have to be off by nine on school nights, so I will probably go read HP and the Deathly Hallows.

I should be finishing TTT, but I have to read HP&tDH for school, but I already read it and I think I am just giving myself an excuse to read it again, when I really dont need to read it again for the book report.

And its pretty sad when I need to touch up on my tolkien knowledge and have RotK and the Srillion read by the end of the summer for my own pleasure. Its upsetting when i dont know what everyone is talking about so I really need to get going on that. Oh the stress of it all. Thanks dad, for giving me my bookworminess.

I'm not sure what mine was. I looked a little, but I didn't look hard enough to find it. It's amazing to see what my old posts were like. Kinda sad, really.

Congrats, Curu.

Hey guys, i figured I'd share this with you. I love e-mail.

Malachi 3:3 says:

'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.'

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says:
'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.'

She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'

He smiled at her and answered,
'Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it.'

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has His eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Thanks everyone. And love the Confetti, Thain!

I know how you feel, Link! I met up in Belgium with a friend who's a crazy Tolkien fan (he knows EVERYTHING ) and it made me feel so...unworthy... So I'm doing a read through of everything again. LOL.

YAWNING EDIT: Well, I'm off to bed. It's really late and I've got everything done online I needed to do tonight. So talk to you all tomorrow! *hugs to all*
