i was drawn here because of a search i was doing for others' tolkien related tattoo ideas which is the subject of a thread here. i have been a fan of tolkien since my dad read the hobbit to me out loud when i was a wee tot.

Yay! I got my old name back. I lost the password for this one so I've been using "Elanor the Hobbit", but Fat Middle nicely reset my password for me. This one's cooler because it has a higher post count

And it's older!

Well,

I've finished moving! I'm near Lake Erie (within an hour) and have a neat little home with a big atrium where my computer resides. My office is "OK" and at least I have my own pickup and a nice mahogany desk with a new computer (21" monitor!).

Hope ya missed me!

Nahh, just a big screen for all the GIS work I do....it's nice though.

yeah, I've lived in Michigan and Northern NY (Canada Border) so I suppose I'll be fine....just more of an excuse to stay inside and surf the moot, eh!

Tomorrow I'm leaving for Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, Virginia. I'm told our place will be a really nice hotel suite, that we'll go down to just about every year now as part of a timeshare program. So I'll be there for a week.
