I fear clowns as well. And Furby's that still wake up in the middle of the night.

funny thing is though, I have two Furby's. Coca and Cola. I like to keep them hidden in the closet. And when I wake them up I hang them up side down.

I used to have a furby and it would never turn off unless you took the batteries out of it. Never. It was very scary!

*nods wisely* Ah, Furbys.

Those things always scared me. I mean, no toy should be able to talk back in any understandable fashion! They can speak to each other in an actual conversation! Also, they act too....well, HUMAN. Scary......

More scary stuff:

1. TELETUBBIES!

2. spiders with extra long legs...*shudder*

3.the fact that I am actually adjusting to the heat here!

4. a few things I found out about EW......

Why are you afraid of horses?

A friend of mine has a phobia of horses, but that's because when he was little, he watched his best friend die from getting kicked in the head by one.

I used to be afraid of Furbys. Then a friend let me listen to a comedy track he had downloaded. It was a prank call from a guy to a toy store saying he had a demonic Furby that kept making death threats and weird noises. At points he would even put the Furby to the phone. It would say things like, "I smoke crack!" and "I'm going to give you...gonnorhea!"
That track was supposed to be funny. After that I wasn't just afraid of Furbys.....I was waiting in suspense, every moment thinking that a Furby was going to crash through my door and hold me at gunpoint.
Now for something completely different.......
I went with my dad along the Oregon Coast one year. At one point we decided to stop and rent horses to ride along the beach with a bunch of other people. I was fairly young, and so only wanted a horse that would trot. When we got to the beach, my horse started snapping at other horses, and nearly bit me. Then when the horses out in front began galloping, my horse decided to follow them and ignore how hard I was pulling on its reigns to stop. Eventually it slowed down, but I had already been holding on for dear life, i I didn't want to let go yet.
I haven't ridden a horse since that day.

I always enjoyed riding, but there was one time when I was in the galloping position and leaned too far forward and the stirrups came off (some safety mechanism). That was weird.

Fear of riding reminds me of the uncomfortable fear I had when riding with my husband on his Harley. He thought it was so fine, and I was always petrified. I'd look down at the road going by and FREAK! I was so glad when he sold it. (He wasn't).

i dont mind riding bikes at all. i just dont like the un predictable nature of horses. If my first experience had been better i would of been ok but the horse kicked and the instructor was so awful and i just wanted to get off my hoprse and kick seven sades of **** out of her.

The only fear I have of horses is getting kicked. But I really like them.

Speaking of horses.....enough with the horses!
I remember having a dream (right after I saw "A Beautiful Mind") that I was schizophrenic. Somehow I got stranded up in the mountains where it was snowing like crazy. To cut the story short, a lot of stuff happened and then a bus picked me up, dropped me aboard a ferry from whence I started walking home. The sun was high, and I went into some kind of restaurant, still wearing several layers of clothing to protect me from the cold. Then someone turned to me and said, "Why are you shivering? It must be 80- degrees out there!" So in a moment of horrifying realization, I (in the dream) forced my eyes open with my figners, and saw that I was still stranded in the mountains. (And yes, there were plenty of people I met there who weren't real.) The only thing that I could think of when I woke up was what the psychologist said in "A Beautiful Mind". I think it went something along these lines, "Imagine that the places, people, all the things you had come to know. It's not that they weren't real....it's that they had never existed. What kind of hell would that be?"
Anyway, that scared the hell out of me. Sorry about the length.....it scares me to write stories that are less than 100 words long.

I dreamt I was schizophrenic after seeing that movie too. Only in my dream there was this girl that I'm scared of and I imagined that there were two of her.

Ouch. Two of any person can be scary, but two of a person you're already afraid of......
