Refreshed the page, and the first thing I read was "Entmoot - powered by Buddhism".

Not very difficult to entertain at the moment

Nice to clear things up, sometimes.

Neat! I happen to be a Taoist. Not by choice, by default.

I am happy because I get to go to a party tomorrow.

And DAH2 rocks.

Word to Taoism. Not that I actually practice. But it jives with me really well. Or should i say, I jive with it really well.

Anyway I'm usually bored all day until I remember that a lot of my favorite bands are going to be in my area this winter!

I really must be the spammer of the Happy Thread.. X)

Anyway, the reason why I'm happy: I got 5/5 in an exam I've been so worried about! Just got a mail from my professor.. Now I could fly to the moon.

Edit: snow. Lots of snow.

.. And I've got work! Work means money!

Just saw a really cute lil three year old a few moments ago in the elevator coming up to the computer lab from class. Smilie lil thing, was looking at my eyepatch and going 'arr' and 'boo' and laughing. Somehow it doesn't anger me when it comes from the little one as when it comes from the adults.

Perhaps it was the honest laughter and the smile.

It's raining pretty hard and everyone wanted to use the elevator, so she kept trying to walk out every time the door opened and I had to put a hand out to stop her. And then came her floor, and she and her mom left, but only after she waved a cheery farewell 'bye'.

For some reason I'm smiling.

I've been wanting one of those outdoor fire pits for a long time. Finally picked one up tonight. It was a good price at Menards - and my boys are real excited. I'll try and put it together tomorrow and maybe light a fire.

It's a nice, big, tall round one - with wheels and a handle. The first ones I saw (a little over 2 years ago) were just like it.

It's a nice, acceptable way to have a campfire in your own backyard - when you live in a big city.

I'm writing a couple pages a day for NaNoWriMo.

I'm adapting my movie script for this novel and I haven't gotten to the hard part yet so I'm pretty happy with it.

I have no LIFE. Yay!

"Royal" weekend...

Saturday saw King Tut exhibit at Chicago's Field Museum.

Sunday afternoon/evening... we all went out to Medieval Times. The boys loved it!

(and the Bears won too! )

Well I'm that special Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy age today, I've just won an online poker tournament, we've had Sky HD installed this morning (pretty pictures!) AND I've just found my way back here. So, muchly happy all round. Mind this bucketful of beer helps too...

I have been doing very badly during rifle practice for the last couple of weeks. It was to the point where my teacher was planning on coming to practice with us to help me out.
Though this sounds like it should go in the Venting Thread, it shouldn't because it has a happier ending.
I got better!
At practice yesterday I made a 185 during a quick half-round. Not the best score in the world, but a heck of a lot better than the 146 I made in the practice before that!
Besides that, I totally aced my Biology test that has had me stressin' for weeks!
Life can SO ROCK sometimes!!!
