Interesting, because, I have sinomÃ« is 'in this place', and nin is 'of me' in my word list. But I can see nio as 'of me'.

You are correct with MÃ¡lonya being my friend, though.

I'm happy to see you two are carrying on without me.

I have a question for you elvish language learned people. What does 'LinanrinthÃ«' mean? A friend of mine is convinced it's elvish but I can't figure out what it means. I think she did that on purpose.

I don't think it is Quenya, though it looks like a combination of Quenya words:
Lin-=verb stem, 'sing' (may also mean 'many')
rin='dew' (from a very early source)
It does not look like Sindarin either...

Sounds like a name taken from the Barrowdowns namegenerator...

If it is Quenya...
li- or lin- = many (I have lind- as melody and my listing for lin- as sing says it was crossed out, so probably not 'sing')
nan = woodland
rin = dew
but nothing that represents rinthÃ« or thÃ«.
Perhaps... dew of the woods?

I'm not very good with Sindarin, but if it is Sindarin... maybe...
lin = pool

rintha = jerk/twitch
bwahhahahaha!!! maybe it would mean a body of water that is not still, but choppy. You know, a disturbed body of water, perhaps.

I bet Falagar is right, your friend might have gotten that name from the name generator. I've seen some odd names come from that.

tecero is a combination of tecÃ« (writes) and -ro (he) so I meant to say... 'he writes'.
I found "ya rato nÃ«a" in a word list as: "which soon may (it) be = which I hope to be soon". I thought I would try to use it.

From now on, if I find a little saying I'll put it into quotes so you will know not to take it literally.

i don't think that "LinanrinthÃ«" can be quenya. i think that the clustr "nr" is not possible in that language.
