Huh?
Well, due to my being rather confused about THAT comment, I think it would be a good time to point out that I am now tied for 28th place with Elf Girl in the top 30 posters!
EDIT: I see what you mean. No, it was meant to be an arrow, but it deleted my extra spaces automatically. I meant to say see my last post.

I don't know what they were called, but I think I know what you're thinking of now. They were from "Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan." They were little worm like creatures, little bitty monsters that Khan stuck in a couple people's ears to make them more pliable to suggestions. I think those are probably what you're thinking of.

Indeed, you hit the nail on the head - this is exactly what I was thinking of; it was from The Wrath Of Khan, I remember now - yes, he put them into people's ears on purpose, it was horrible.

What were those things called? Those weren't tribbles? What were those horrid things?

AHH! Ciao, bella Nurvi! So, you've brought us back our beloved Teacup Cafe & Skybar!! Oh, thank you; my puppy and tiger family & itinerant penguin mob were really, really displaced there for a moment or more. The real Teacup is back!! Thank Melkor; honestly that horrible star trek scare was traumatic to the extreme.

*Lets Claire go run about the Teacup; shows Leroy and his family their own new wing of the Teacup & Skybar, complete with baby tiger play-area; after getting them settled, leads the Emperor Penguin Mafia into Grey Wolf's special ice-tunnel rest area especially made for the pengins, and feeds them special fresh codfish and grouper. Penguins are stoked.*

Agreed...
*watches as the second floor windows of so-called "Rec Lounge" burst forth with Tribbles, which subsequently pour into the street*

I don't know, but those creatures didn't freak me out anywhere near as much as the bugsies in Peter Jackson's King Kong. Those really, really creeped me out.

Lief doesn't KNOW? I am so flabberghasted, for real, I'm not even kidding. Someone around here must know what those creepy-crawly, pokey-headed, many-footed ear-worms were called.
