Thanks.
You're still on vacation too, right? I've got about two and a half weeks before I can return to my not-so-old mooting habits... So that means about 2.5 weeks to get through the rest of the Quenya lessons from Ardalambion... since I know I won't be doing anything at all productive as soon as I get back to school...

Update on my image-handling project:
So far I've copied in the tags in chapters 1 - 14. I only have three more chapters to do. I'll probably finish it tomorrow. (unless not everybody has read my previous post I've translated a Swedish children's book in the Pettson/Findus-series by Sven Nordquist into English and written it in webformat.) This does not mean I'm going to publish it on the Web. I just use the format because I think it's fun to do so. After finishing it I'm gonna burn it onto a CD. BTW, when you do burn documents and images (which is in a folder) onto a CD will the images appear as then you had the whole thing on the harddisc? Just wondering. Grateful for info. Congrats El!
I too got my grades, and finally worked up the courage to look at them. In the class I was afraid of failing, I got a B...so, I got a total of four Bs and two A's. This is good, especially considering that the extra class I was taking was killing me, but I'm aiming for better next semester. I'm also working on some drawings for my elfwood gallery...I have until the middle of February to get these submitted, and now is the best time to work on them, before next semester starts again. Drawing is not the difficult process. It's scanning and editing that will take at least as long, if I'm lucky. |

Actually putting yourself on the nomination list and working to be elected is an important accomplishment in itself, LCoU. Congratulations!

I just realized that I started posting on the Entmoot when I was twelve years old.

yippidy doo dah! I'm the recipient of the "Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award" for our school (If you're in the U.S. you may recognize it).
Too bad I'm not planning on going into science

Nice, Mirky. What are you going into?
When did school end for you, Lenya? You're about the same age as me... my last year of high school... *shudders* Well... that's over now. I go back to college within the week... now I have to keep up my grades, or... bye bye, scholarship...

Yesterday I won my school's science fair. Ok, I was the only person in my category. But I won nonetheless!

ah yes I got a 99 on my precalc midterm---ok so that's a 92 plus his normal 3 point curve for a grade from 90-99 plus an extra 4-5 point curve because the class generally did badly. He's a wonderful yet tough teacher, so. The test was...actually let's say it wasn't easy.

I won a preliminary round interview place for summer school competition. The summer school is held in Syndey, far from my own land. There are only 5 or 6 interviews in my county, but if I get through this, then there's more interviews and only 5 places for the whole country. Except I probably won't get though, due to pants interview technique... I got this far because of pretty looking grades.
