Je préfère aussi dire 'septante' et 'nonante'. Ce'st si facile! Esayez de dire quatre-vingt-dix très vite. Je me casse la langue sur ce mot. C'est seulement dommage qu'un Français ne le comprend pas.

Pretty much to me. I don't know any other kind of wall sockets. Do you want me to measure the distance between the holes to be certain?

Thanks for the info. Do you also live in a country full of outlaws where the government can to what it wants? (sorry, just had to say that).

I know what you mean, Lalaith. I can hereby firmly state that I do not think there is another country that has so many regulations and laws on such a small piece of territory as Belgium. But sadly enough that's not necesarily a good thing..... *sigh*

Political discussions are always a little ... dangerous. I shouldn't argue with JD, he won't ever see that we also have Democracy.
New Topic.

Tell me, Eärniel, can you speak Indonesian now?
I forgot to mention in the PMs that I have a better definition for the prefix ber- now. It means to 'have/possess/do' the root word (a noun). Like bersepatu (sepatu=shoes)-to wear shoes, berolahraga (olahraga=sport) to play sport and bersekolah (sekolah=school)- go to school. That wasn't much clearer, was it? Also, I have been reading some Indo forums, and it appears that they do indicate their plural by following the noun with a number '2' (such as buku2). But that's internet-speak, I'm not sure about in proper books and all that. Last edited by Linaewen : 08-29-2003 at 09:26 AM. |

I had to clear that up - since you misrepresented my statements. You can continue on talking about languages now.

Edit: 'Niel, you've made me think so much about Indo grammar that I was constructing Indo sentences...whilst asleep. And I am certain they were correct! Jon. Nej, jag talar inte esperanto. Varför? I think Interlingua doesn't have those 'crazy symbols'. It looks incredibly similar to Italian to me. Last edited by Linaewen : 08-30-2003 at 09:05 AM. |
