Wow, Lady Tinuviel. You are definitely the movie genius.

Last movie I saw was....RotK? Wait a sec...I know I watched something after that... Oh well.

AI is a cool movie. Jude Law is awesome. Ever seen Enemy at the Gates? It was pretty good. Not one of my favorites though. Speaking of Jude Law....I really want to see Cold Mountain when it comes out. hmm. Maybe I'll go watch it in theaters sometime.

I do like Jude Law. I've seen him in a few movies...AI, Enemy at the Gates, and I know there was at least one more..Music from another Room and...grr! I know there was one more! Sorry. Can't think of it now...

I saw cold mountain yesterday (thursday)

Don't go see it!!!!

Seriously. And I even like the Civil War and Nicole Kidman.

That movie just drags on FOREVER! It seemed like it was days long - I thought it was MUCH MUCH LONGER than Return of the King - but it is an hour shorter BUT FEELS TWO HOURS LONGER.

One of the slowest movies i've seen in a while. Boring at parts. Otherwise, it had its moments.

Some of the things in the movie made little sense.

Interesting cameo by Natalie Portman and others!

My film tally's down a bit having been away over Christmas ... but I did manage to fit in ROTK three times, TTT EE and all the appendices, Peter Pan (twice - I love it! ), and Freaky Friday, which was fun. Also just before Christmas the other Fayed film, Love Actually, which I liked too and Master and Commander (twice) ... I was thinking of seeing Cold Mountain this week but ... I'm not sure now ...

Anyone know anything about Mystic River? What's that like?

I went to see Peter Pan and got sooooo bored. It was a load of rubbish. I got so bored i ended up standing up and yelling I DO BELIEVE IN FAIRIES I DO I DO! in the middle of the theatre in my madness.

I just saw Dreamcatcher and though the first half of it was decent, the rest either bored me or didn't make any sense at all.

I want to see Cold Mountain... not out yet. Also want to see Spider when it's released.

Just went to see School of Rock - very good if you're a rock aficionado.

It's VERY good. But it's not a feel-good happy-happy movie...

Yup, right at the end with all the chanting I got a bit bleeargh, especially the chanting about Captain Hook (I thought it was mean ). But overall I liked the film ...

But it's a funny thing - I often find films are great at the beginning and well on in, and the endings somehow falter a bit, almost as though the people making them have run out of time or budget, or have spent so much time at the front they forget about the end.

I saw Stuck on You today - not at all as I expected it to be, but interesting all the same ... Cher really stood out, consenting to play the part she did, I thought.

Thanks BeardofPants (And waiting to see School of Rock )

Spider I really liked.

I finally saw Bend it Like Beckham and liked it.

Interesting about Peter Pan. It's supposed to be the most faithful to the original of all the adaptations to date. I just finished reading the book to my 5 year old son a few weeks ago, and I was thinking of taking him, but with the PG rating I wanted to see it myself first and make sure. I'll probably just wait till it's out on dvd, but it would be fun to see it in the theater with him. Maybe the fact that it was boring for teenagers means it would be okay for a 5 year old?

I just saw "An Ideal Husband" and what a great movie. I particularly enjoyed it when they were watching "The Importance of Being Earnest" on stage.

I also just saw this Finnish movie called "The Man without a past". It's pretty good. Finnish movies are weird.
