Yeah, I quite like the church picture taken from a low angle. Looks really good.

I'll jump in with some insects and arachnids.. The first two ones are taken with my friend's macro lens (on my camera), the others with my, still, only lens (the kit lens).

A Camponotus-worker (carpenter ant)

A butterfly, taken in monochrome since my friend didn't remember to put it back to normal after using my camera, and because I'm silly enough not to shoot in RAW.. X)

A bumblebee hiding under a flower just before it started raining..

Same individual.

And, finally, the promised arachnid. 8)

Lake Ladjojaure, near Nikkaluokta, Swedish Lapland. The clouds were hanging low..

Our tent the first morning.. The sun was shining, but the mountains were behind a cover of fog.

Valentine Valley, I call this one..

It really is. I love the mountains there.. Although I prefer Sarek to the Kebnekaise area, but that's mostly because of the people (no people in Sarek, lots in Kebnekaise ).

Why replace when you can have both?

Hehe yeah he did And that's right, why choose one when you can have both! Though travelling to Sweden will empty your wallet a bit slower admittedly

Hey Jonathan btw, can you sign me up on the Entmoot fight against Cancer list?

China, Autumn 2006

Here's some pictures from my last trip to China in 2006, in Beijing, and Chongqing & the Yangtze River :O)

Legs and Feet on the Tiananmen Square, on China's Independence Day.

Beneath the watchful gaze of Mao Tse-Tung..

Cop? Outfit? He seemed rather young..

These were some cool teens who insisted on taking a picture of me (white guy.. spooky!), and so I insisted on taking one of them..

Old eyes.

Me closing one eye, in the blurry camera haze of the night, and a few drinks..

Father and Son?

A guy, a mattress and lots of concrete.

This is taken from the Summer Palace in Beijing, out across what is an artificial lake (or at least was!)

Nah, not sure you should.. It's the same mountain range on the Norwegian side, it's just that they have the higher mountains. But both are absolutely beautiful countries - so I agree, you should try to make it to both.

(and there will be more photos - just have to go through all 400 of them first.. )
