Whoops... couldn't just let it be a minor head injury, hm?

That's going be a permanent problem for your character, Coffeehouse. Are you certain you want that plot twist?

It's a good one, and well timed, but it's pretty early in the game to be maiming your character so it does need a little questioning, just to sure you're sure.

I wasn't sure what to say addressing that, and I was going to ask, but neither you or he were online at the time. I just said he was crying tears of blood in his extreme non-physical pain. If he keeps it, that can be Aerin's interpretation, or if he doesn't, he can always say that's what he was doing. OR we can both edit our posts.

You know, when it doubt, go for ABSTRACT!

Eh. I was going to assume literal, given the glass. I just wanted to make sure that he really wants his character to be in that bad of shape because it makes the hoisting him up like sack of potatoes plan a little more tricky.

Let's wait and see what he says and if he's sure he want to go with it I'd suggest some sort of "Crap, there's blood coming out of his eyes!" exclamation.

Yeah, I'll give Haldis a shout (with words something to that affect) if he says he wants it.

I dunno, she may surprise us yet. But Tabrîl and Abasi have a very defined behaviour due to the Avari caste system you introduced. It'd make sense if they did what I guessed since that's the way they've acted before.

Quickleaf's eyes are seriously damaged from all the sandgrain-size pieces of glass. It seems he is blind

Really blind? Are you sure you want to go that far? It's not like there's advanced eye surgery available in Middle-earth. If Quickleaf's eyes are seriously damaged to the point he can no longer see, Radagast will be forced to leave him in the care of the Lorien Elves while the rest goes further. You'll effectively write yourself out of the game that way.

No joke, we don't have any seeing eye dogs either; unless you count Borin's Warg. CH, just have it be a head injury and have the bleeding thing be your cheek or something. He'll still get Aerin's tender lovin' either way.

Okay... so we're going to see if we can't talk CH out of maiming Quickleaf permanently before I post that whole "Crap-there's-blood-coming-out-of-his-eyes" post, right?

Well I've never seen the dare devil films...but I do know the main hero was blind and he did lots of cool matrixs stuff Now I also think we have all seen (or read) the storys about the blind hermit who go off beat up all the bad guys. That just means Quickleaf has to become a blind Hermit

But didn't Daredevil (I'm going by comic books here) get blinded in an accident with radioactive waste that gave him other abilities like better hearing so that he could pinpoint heart-beats? I don't exactly remember, but anyway I don't see Quickleaf doing that any matrix-stuff soon. Although I doubt Nami, or Aerin for that matter, will mind a spandex-clad Quickleaf much....

But more seriously, even Daredevil and all those blind kung fu hermits had years of training to deal and overcome their handicap.

Hehe I seem to be struggling to just make him blind The very first post after the fall, "black. pitch black", suggested he was blind but ah I give up Fine his eyes are very damaged and he'll need a blindfold for many days, but not permanent blindness then.

There it is
