Well I was under the impression that it was just a planning meeting.

You guys had better figure out what the goal of this meeting is. There is nothing worse than going to a meeting and the person that called it has no set goals of what the meeting is supposed to accomplish. These usually end up leading into tangents with no conclusion and I hate wasting time at meetings. But as I'm not really part of the meeting - I guess it doesn't really matter.

12:00pm - 12:15pm: arrive, cocktails.
12:15pm - 12:45pm: lunch.
12:45pm - 1:30pm: free discussion, beer will be served (re: details of congressmn's beating and death)
1:30pm - 1:50pm: beating of congressmn by Ruinel.
1:50pm - 2:00pm: death of congressmn (by means decided during the meeting).
2:00pm: meeting adjourned.

Based on budgetary cutbacks, I hope you aren't expecting the company to be picking up the tab for lunch. I really don't think that lunch is a requirement there and I would eliminate the beer (or risk firing).

So your revised schedule will be as follows...
1:00pm - 1:30pm: Free discussion
1:30pm - 1:50pm: Beating of congressmn by Ruinel.
1:50pm - 2:00pm: death of congressmn (by mean decided during free discussion period)
2:00pm: meeting adjourned

Oh, and don't you worry about the executive bonuses. The executives only got a 5% increase in those bonuses this year! I don't know how they'll survive.
