He's pretty cute, huh? I don't think he'll have any brains left by the time he grows up, given the amount times he's run head-first into the wall/couch/leg/bed/cat-tree/bath/door... (just now ran into the couch) *lol*

So what, he'll be brainless, but still awefully cute.
And you'd be surprised at how tough their heads are...

Wow BoP, that first photo is wonderful, you could put it on a calendar. I always knew ragdolls were magnificent cats, and lil' Pixel is definitely a confirmation for that.

The shrimp is pretty. Pretty colors are good!
Funny you showed me the coconut crab. Just now I'm watching a Japanese series on the Okinawan Islands and there are a lot of coconut crabs in it.

I know that you can if you get a special permit. I was communicating with a person in the government about starting a captive breeding program at one point, and she said I needed to get a permit from....somewhere. I cant remember where, though. I dont see why though, the winters around here would kill them. I just think they're really cool, a little decapod tank.
Mari: They are really pretty, thing is, though, that they are extremely carnivorous and actually eat sea stars. So I would need to be purchasing sea stars for them all the time, plus my tank isnt very bi, it has to be small enough to transport. Maybe someday though.

Sea stars are some of the neatest animals to keep in a tank. If I were to recomend an easy-to-care-for animal for beginners in saltwater, I would say chocolate chip sea stars. They arent very flashy, but it is fun to watch them feed, just dont keep brittle stars with them. I did and my one chocolate chip ate three brittles.

The white one is full persian and her parents faces are really pushed in. Since she is just a kitten shes all hair right now you cant really see her facial structure. The cream coloured one is a mix thats why she is not extreme. Her momma is half himmy. So she looks more open faced, because shes a mixed breed. That little one sneezes all the time! Poor smushy thing...

Oooooooooh, BABY, it's colorful alright!! What I'd give for one of those babies! And maybe an octopus too! Those tanks are almost perfect for one! Dont really have the money right now, though. I wonder how heavy they are....

Coral is wonderful. It's a pity most species are hard to breed and harvesting it from the wild isn't a good option either.

Aw, the Kraken's alright, he cant hear me in his tank, can ya big fella?
And yes, I've had three Octopi (and a cuttlefish, not something I recomend btw) but they dont live very long, and you cant tell how old they actually are. But those tanks would be perfect for them. Earniel, Yes, it's true that it is hard to grow coral in an aquarium. At least it used to be. Now they "frag" it (like in the old days), and some people are getting them to breed sexually in jars. Also, alot of new aquarium technology is being developed specifically for the growth, breeding and overall health of captive coral species. But I will never keep it in my tank because one can never tell if it has been live-harvested, and I do not condone the practice. I would only buy it if the aquarist could show me his frags or breeding jars, and even then I would still probably pass. Also, some aquarists switch tanks in very short order, and often end up killing coral, it really needs to be taken of the public market. But I do like to keep anemones, and after Christmas I'm gonna do a big water change in my tank and put in some bubbletip anemones.
