I just remembered that I have volley-ball tonight! I'm so, so happy!

This morning after mass (I usually try to hit the morning mass before school when I can) I got to talk to two of my friends, and tonight I'm going to get to see more of them at volley-ball!!!!!!

Even if I can't get the paper done all the way before I go, it'll be worth staying up late just so that I can see my friends again

. I really miss them a lot.

finally i got my study allowances for this month.. a bit too late, but still.^^ now i don't have to rely on my parents anymore.. i hate that.

I was able to preoccupy my mind with a karting enduro last night. And the night before, a club prizegiving function. I had to change from my office attire into suitable clothes for those events.

Last night, just before retiring, I noticed my trophy shelf. It's getting quite full. I remember thinking, maybe I have what it takes. Maybe it was just the newest trophy (which was the biggest one) which fooled me into thinking something good about myself.

we saw over 15 seals when we went by boat to a rocky islet.. and on top of that, the islet was amazing. i almost stayed there.. if i'd die now, i'd die happy.

Seals are the bomb! I live near a harbor, and out on the red-and-white buoy a big family of seals likes to chill; they love to bark a lot in the early evening. One time, when my boyfriend and I were taking the sailboat out, there was this one seal who was lounging on a platform, watching us leave the harbor. He noticed us noticing him, and flopped off the platform, then stuck his flipper out of the water exACTly like a shark fin, moved his "fin" a little, then peeked up real quick to see if we were watching. He did that like three times, quite clearly emulating a shark to get a reaction. It was absolutely hilarious!

I could've clepped out of it, most likely, but since I'm going in to college early I want to make sure I'm not skiping things the other kids would know already from high school.

And now I can see that most kids don't learn anything in high school.

And actually all that it means is that I can now correct everyone else and find an (il)logical reason as to why they're always wrong about my spelling and grammar, and I'm always right about theirs.

Had been hoping to get back in the pool to start getting in shape for some time. Finally managed to go last night - swam 400 m (about two furlongs!

), but had to break it up. For kicks I finished off with a little butterfly, but only made about an extra 20 to 25 meters on that, when I though, OK - that's it.

Gotta get goggles. When I'm out of shape, short swims don't usually affect my eyes much - but I think the water level in the chlorine must've been pretty low.
