I wrote it all in my little book on the train yesterday - but was too tired to type it up when I got home. I'm about to type it (and post it) now. It will end with a question to Aerin whether she wants to go to Minas Tirith with them.

When I mention a "joke" that Aerin makes, I'm referring to her use of the word "vittles". She grew up in the realm of Lothlorien and probably didn't even hear the word seriously used until the journey for the Entwives.

It seems to me like it would be equivalent to hearing a Queen use the word "ain't" or something. In case you are interested in picking up on the joke.

I don't know about the [img] code - I think it is set to work in some fora and not in others. You would have to ask a more experienced mod than me - Eärniel might know.

A seat for the badger might be a good idea - Baru will want her in front of her and not behind her back, though. When I was little - very little - my dad had a seat for me in front of him on his bike.

Thanks for explaining the joke - I'm not all that into details of style and slang ...

Correct, the [img]-code only works on some fora, like GM and some others, although I can't remember which ones right now.

I don't think anything else needs to be done. The trip to Minas Tirith had been agreed on, Aerin and Nightshade have made their entrance which made the company complete. Unless Aika would like to include a reaction for either of her characters to the presence of a talking badher, I think you're all set to go.

Maybe a stachel of a sort that hangs from the side of the horse? Would make sleeping for her easier when on horse-back. Although I imagine a pillow of hay in front of the saddle may work as well.

I don't think we even need that kind of post. What we need, is for Aika to join us again ... but I guess we can start without her as well. I think everything is covered - at least I don't have anything else that I wanted to get in before we leave.

Exactly - we've included in the posts everything that is needed to reach the departure point. We could do more filler while waiting for Aika, but it would be only that - filler. We could just as well start, and Aika can add what she wants to be there when she comes.

A pillow of hay to start with, then. And we can get a ... stachel? satchel? in the next village.

I went ahead and made the post (a bit ago)... I know in addition to the main throng headed to Minas Tirith, we also have a Hobbit and a couple of green people at an inn on the way, waiting to be met up with.
