Ya'll are making me blush, it's just a bit of improv instinct left over from playing in the silly rpgs where continuity was considered optional.

(And I am such a blonde! But hair color aside, pregnant on a quest, I would be panicking every other second. )

So who wants to help us come up with a relatively slow acting, mildly hallucenogenic snake venom?

I will since I was the one who was bitten. A'mael's dead-set on living. Heh, dead-set on living. LOL, movie references.

I was thinking maybe in the long ago past the area's local (non-venomous) snake population might have interbred with young dragons or something, since that would allow for a northern snake species aggressive enough to bite without the victim provoking and being aware of it and whose venom might produce the effects A'mael seems to be experiencing. It'd be best if it turns out to be non-fatal, since I doubt Haldis carries around the equipment to synthesize anti-venoms.

*snorts* I'm very blond, but never blond blond. Though I might have some not so bright moments. But of course those are few.

Dunno. I'm kinda lost at the moment and going with the flow. No fearful visions for Ellysa for now
I must say I do really miss our reluctant elven couple... but they are both not coming back to play for a while.
It would be more fun if there were more characters to converse with.

I'm afraid I haven't been conversing very actively - I've given answers (sometimes substantial ones ) when spoken to, but not much more than that.

So if I speak better when spoken to, do speak to me

Don't feel to bad, Ferrus has bearly said anything this entire trip, other than talking about there being "15 elves" in the party, frankly I stopped counting elves after about five or six so I have no idea of Ferrus's accuracy on this matter

Nice to see you again, Me9996. And I see Orithil has snuck back in for a post or two as well.

As promised: RAIDERS!

And us on a couple of rafts, this could be fun. A reminder to people with armour, watch your feet, falling in may not be such a good idea.

Actual, that's not even only a mental picture for me. I can recommend one or two nature documentaries with snake breeding gatherings.

No fear, if I can get a post up tomorrow, you all will find something to do.

* Arrives on the bridge of Long Lost Leaves. *

*Earniel approaches the bridge. *

Ingwionis: "Cap'n on the bridge!"

Earniel: "Status report."

Ingwionis: "Well it appears that I have been asleep, figuratively speaking, for the last few months and have not been able to post."

Amael: "Hey everyone, chocolate chip cookies!"

Ingwionis: "Mmmm....chocolate...*drools*. What was I talking about?"

Sorry, I've been away too for a bit. It appears to happen quite a bit lately. I don't believe I've actually made a post since God knows when. Last time I was rallied to read the RPG, there was a potential spider infestation in progress.

This chapter could be called "The Exterminator" where I go around just punching and kicking spiders. "Yeah, punch that spider, HURRAH!"

* Falls asleep due to cold and potential Nyquil over-dose. It tells you to take 15 mg or something. I took 5 over that. Whoops. *

Well, every one was calling him a letch for a while; the poor guy has to be careful around all these females!

Anyways, I've incorporated parts of both of your posts, Acally and Varna, into mine to keep the conversation going and know at whom the questions are oriented. If you could do the same, it would keep us from getting confused and keep the conversation going.

Feel free to have Carnehillion talk to your characters and fill in the spaces with chit chat and minor history. If you have questions on whether or not Redplate would have something in his background, PM me or post it here. I'll do likewise.

Hey, here's a chance for Baru to make herself useful!

She's a skilled archer - I don't know enough about archery to describe it with much skill, though. So don't expect any detailed description of the technical intricacies

Oh, btw, the Ainon of Rivendell that she mentions, is indeed the Ainon you may know from Journeys

No bows for the Beornings in the party. I've got Truor using a sling-shot, and as for Haldis, she's got other distance weapons even limited as she is at the moment...

I wonder, did Haldis have Granny Weatherwax as her teacher when she was young?

Wonderful stuff! Such depth of skill Aiming and shooting! Who would have thought it possible?

Irony aside, I like the cold pleasure Baru feels, it's a worthy combat cynicism of a royal-blooded Elf-lady

Like my lil sister has published on her bedroom-door: "Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again"
