I wouldn't go for a PS3, but thats just my personal opinion. Whats the point of getting both the PS3 and Xbox 360? 360 is the better end of the deal . Though, there are some games on PS3 I wish I had...

*shoves the thing right back into the monster quarters with the rest of them, and contemplates dropping a nuke or two on the lot of them*

oki, Ill button my beak, as you so eloquently put it.
Since they apparently bother you so much Ill remove the MQ altogether from the Café. *A wrecking crew comes into the Cafe and begins the expelling of the Monsters and the complete and utter eradication of their quarters. After which an interior decorating team arrives to remodel and rebuild the wall and using a industrial vacuum cleaner in order for there not be even an infinitesimal vestige of a trace of the former repugnant domiciles.* Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 02-16-2009 at 01:36 PM. |

My parents left for their long overdue vacation. They left the house, my sister and the dog in my care... Mwuhahaha! I'm not so sure that was the right thing to do

Hello Mooters. I went to a festival on Friday and I found this awesome Legend of Zelda CD. The case was all in Japanese and stuff, but it gets translated on itunes. It's all so nostalgic. T_T

Like BoP suggested, I'd go for the PS3 instead of the X360 solely for the Blu-ray function.

*shakes head* I will never understand why y'all settle for an entertainment experience that is so entirely pre-digested. I know it's important to you, but I doubt I'll ever get why.

Gameboy (for Pokemon), Sega Gamegear (for Sonic), and DS/PSP. I really want the first two and I have the second two. PSP is better, but we have both so we can have some variety. |

I honestly don't find it to be too much more pre-digested than reading a book. For me, when I read a book, it's like watching a movie unfold in my mind's eye. It's so vivid, and exciting. When I play a video game, it's the same thing. I may be seeing the graphics on the screen with my eyes (similar to how I just see text with my eyes when I read), but in my head it's SO much more. My mind's eye makes the video game into a living experience, just like a good book. Last edited by Tessar : 02-16-2009 at 11:59 PM. |

Yay Tessar!
I am getting sick of having to defend video games as an artistic medium. Sure, not all are, but neither are all movies. Anyway, snapping turtles are CRAZY! |

Good morning everyone!
I want breakfast, but I have to wait another 15 minutes. Stupid meds. >_< I wonder what time my sis will get up. She was up pretty late, so... Sis, what Tess said If it's a good story it's almost like reading a book, only sometimes you seem more free because you are the one doing the moving and discovering.

Woah! Just got the notice on my status of the loan for school and stuff of the past 4 years... 16.000 euros. *gulps*
Thank heavens I don't have to pay that once I finish my education. *is grateful for the Dutch educational financing system*

What kinds of stories do you all play? I have a lot of friends who love Runescape, but I'm sure I'm not up on this. I appreciate your help.

I've played several RPG's. Some of the best IMO are Golden Sun for GBA and Suikoden for PS1 because of the story. I played those both twice.
And I love Harvest Moon, but that is a rather calm game and not everyone enjoys having to build up a farm. There is a story, but it evolves so slowly that you have to feel up for it. The easiest and fastest version is the N64 one, the harder and slower version is the PS1 version. There is one other game I keep coming back to and that's Civilization III, but that's a strategy game for your computer. I'm pretty certain your computer can't handle that one. That said, I'm not a game connoisseur. I looked at Runescape because some of my friends play it too, but it's not for me. Okay enough game talk. Now I just want to... HUG! Whiiiiiiieeeeeh! *tackles and hugs Sis* Hi!
