Heh. Well the only straight-on pics I have are those "before" pics from January, but I think I'm done with the half-nekkid stuff on Entmoot.

And one thing that's sad is that one of the things that started that episode was my hamster thread. I had starting a thread about my son's hamster getting killed when our dog tried to catch it, and how we dealt with it with my son (there was lots of blood, and the hamster ended up reviving but was horribly injured, and how we pulled in our eldest son to make a decision about euthanizing it or not and whether or not to tell our middle son, etc.), and a lot of people responded. Although JD was sympathetic to the situation, he got really upset that nothing had been posted about Katrina. The reality was that when I started the hamster thread, I had no idea that Katrina even had come, because we had cut off our cable tv for the summer for an experiment. And not everyone responds to things like he does, anyway - some people need to stay quiet for awhile before talking. And I think he just couldn't understand that.

You know what made me think it was definitely not you? You made some grammatical errors in your pigeon post, and you NEVER used to make ANY errors of that type in all of the long posts you used to make in those discussion threads! In fact, you "sic"-ed me several times for spelling errors! (as in [sic]) I guess you're just getting lazy in your old age!

Good to see you back, and BoP and Lizra, too!

I miss Nolendil.

You'd be partly right there. I've relaxed a bit on that front. Compounding matters is the fact that I go into SMS mode when I'm using my phone, and I wrote out that entire post on the cell, in my lounge, while (not really) watching some boring show. That, and the intended "audience" isn't exactly the most demanding group.

That's amazing that you wrote that on your cell!

You must have had to soak your poor fingers in a hot bath when you got home!

That's really sick about those pigeons - do they generally behave like that? I've never noticed that before.

Just a slight headache. Handwriting recognition software helps a lot when writing stuff on my cell. Although, my index finger did cramp up a few times.

I've never noticed anywhere else. Only here at my office, and only when I'm alone. Heh.

For my 500th post, I have decided to do it here.
So, I discovered Entmoot while looking for some games on the internet. My mom had told me to find some games to play, and I asked if I could look for Tolkien games. Then, I found Tolkien Trail, and form there, I found Entmoot.
I must say that it is very fun here at the Moot, and I have enjoyed, and am enjoying it. I hope to do my 1,000th post here, too.
